So many negative comments about this :o I for one was so happy to see this on Netflix! I don't get DramaFever in my country and a lot of Viki's content is not available in my country either so this is great news! I would love for more people to know about Kdramas, why not share this goodness? And at least this way people would have more of an idea of what I'm talking about. Plus I know people who have Netflix and don't even know Kdramas are on there, so don't worry too much about them becoming mainstream.
I would not recommend Roy Leh Sanae Rai at all! There is no character growth at all, lots of screaming girls,…
It's my least favourite out of the ones I have seen so far. I'm not into slap/kiss lakorns at all. Not just the rape factor but the characters themselves, both male and female lead characters didn't grow at all. I don't know how they ended up together, I wish they didn't.
Well I only watched it for happy and cute Hyunshik moments, the rest is meh. Very basic crime story and very annoying/childish…
I didn't see it as making fun of him. Here is what Seo wrote and I completely agree with her.
"On the other hand, I never found this show to be homophobic as people claimed. Instead I thought they were using a different approach to encourage acceptance for the LGBT community.
Using humour to convey a message doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s mocking. Black humour anyone? Satire, no. Black humour, yes. You want to approach such a potentially controversial taboo in a conservative society, you can’t expect them to accept it by preaching to them.
I feel like people throw around the term homophobic so easily these day. Anyone that doesn’t paint homosexuality in rainbows and sunshine, they’re homophobic. But was there any disdain/dislike by our main characters? MH (being NOT gay, has he ever shown a blow to his pride or detest for being called gay? Has Bong Soon ever shy away from MH thinking he was gay or refused to be his bodyguard?) There was no indifference or disgust expressed.
Sure, they’re not as open as you’d like them to be, but you’ve got to consider the culture they live in and that Asian countries typically aren’t that open about such a topic yet. So what DBS is doing, in the conservative society perspective, is def not negatively painting homosexuality."
#1 is the one I face every single time I finisha drama. And yep I never look at my PTW list, if I want to watch something in the near future I will put it in my CW list so I won't forget about it.
I just finished this. I really liked it! So cute and easy to watch. I just went to the leads page and saw their age o.o omo so young! And this is a 2015 drama!
Ho Goo!!! I have so much love for him and this drama!! So glad to see it here <3
I agree with all these choices! I love them all!!!
Every time I see this article on the home page I instantly start smiling because I see Bogummy *.* Ahhh Taek was the cutest!!
Also Wannueng Jaa Pben Superstar is fantastic.
It's not always the bad guy that gets the girl. I watched one recently and I was shipping the bad guy so badly but nope it didn't happen :(
A Push drama I would recommend is Wannueng Jaa Pben Superstar.
Full House is a fantastic Lakorn to start off with!
Also, The child in Eternal Love is very cute too.
