Yeah, I noticed that too. But it was just the scene, where she hugs YY and he tells her to leave. In other scenes, it sounded like Yang Zi's own voice. I could be wrong 😂🤷‍♀️

Yes, she ends up with Yu Mo. Most readers see it as a HE, because Ying Yuan's character in the novel didn't really deserve Yan Dan. But seeing how things are going in the drama, it's going to be different.

That depends on which guy you're rooting for... But drama version changed a lot of things. So knowing what happens in the novel wouldn't really help.

Absolutely loving it so far!! Especially episode 4 and 5~~ YD's theatrical antics almost killed me 😂 Her interactions with YY is also sooo cute!! The way they understand each other's mischievous ideas and work together on it~~
But to think this drama is filled with angst and they both will suffer and the fact that we don't even know if it will be HE or BE is just...😭

MDL pages say 38 episodes for part 1 and 19 episodes for part 2? Honestly getting confused 😂😂 I saw many people give the drama up because of the 80 episode rumor...

They released 5 episodes today, but you need membership to watch episode 3-5.

Chinese dramas are restricted to have max. 40 episodes. So instead of cutting out scenes, they split it into 2 parts.

That’s true! There are definitely people who are great to interact with and discuss about the drama/characters. Sadly, they are in the minority.

Like seriously though, I’m tired of dramas, which has seemingly ‘perfect’ ML and and ‘weak’ ‘flawed’ FL. Not that I’m against on having a flawed character. It’s just everyone ends up blaming the FL, writing everywhere about how much they hate her blah blah blah… They even refuse to see her development as a character! That’s why I hope this drama won’t change that aspect of the novel and suddenly make the ML a selfless character, who always ‘suffers’ because of a ‘stupid’ FL. I always feel like viewers judge female characters more harshly than male characters.

Well based on spoilers from the novel, this time it's the FL, who suffers because of the ML. But we'll see. There is definitely going to be some changes. I honestly don't remember watching a drama adaptation of a novel, which follows the novel exactly.
