Liu Chang is not bad person, but he's overly obsessed with his love for the FL, likewise, her wife is also the…
No please, he is a bad person. Very bad person. And unreasonable. He doesn't like what the princess is for, but he is doing same thing to someone. The person is now suffering and bearing the anger of his supposed love interest and he thinks his so called saving would be appreciated. Do you know how many times mudan almost died because of the princess plot due to his foolish show of persistence love. And he couldn't even do anything about it, at least leave her alone. She was even sold into slavery.
When they were married, I understand he didn't like her or didn't want to marry her. But he had no sense of respect for his apparent wife, no courtesy or manners even if you didn't like the person, if you are reasonable, you guys would build the minimal form of relationship, maybe mutual respect, understanding or even friendship. But this guy was so into himself. He didn't care or even try to act with courtesy. That alone already addressed the type of person he was.
Please, he is a bad person, very selfish and self-absorbed

Thank you so much for the list. I will check them out. I am glad to meet you π. Hopefully we get share more dramas together and also see eachother on different comments sections π
Thanks for the list ! But I think some of them aren't really bromances but censored romances right ?
No, I don't watch BL, so I don't know how that's supposed to be like.
Based on my understanding, I think these are beautiful non sexual relationship. Bromance.
I also love beautiful group friendship, basically I like seeing strong and wonderful friendships, watching people care and watch out for eachother not because of romance and all just because they choose to. But I didn't include those ones. Because this is just guys friendships.
Lady Yulou and that Liangya guy deserve each other. And he doesn't understand why Qiao Man left him. Guy killed his father. Broooo. Qiao Man definitely knows to flee red flag before seeing red sea.
And Lady Yulou. I am wondering what she is plotting.
Difference between Liangya guy, Lady Yulou and Wei Shao, Qiao Man is their principles and how they do things. Both pairs are smart and always plotting. But the former doesn't have border line or limit to what they do. They do whatever they want to do without considering any thing or anyone just anything to achieve their goal and remain in power and they are not honest with their actions or words.
I started watching this drama after watching a ton of reels on it. And I have to confess I thought that the ML…
Finally. Any reasonable person will reject the marriage if they are in shoes. He came to love her after getting to know her properly. If the incident didn't happen and they didn't get to develop the relationship the way they did, I don't think they would have gotten together.
That's is why the drama is titled 'serendipity'
Also, I don't think the male lead did anything wrong. He didn't like her romantically at the beginning only in a simple way yet he saved her and did his best protecting her. Then as he got to know her, he developed feelings for her.
So everyone who thinks he doesn't deserve her, I wonder what type of person she deserves. Because he also is a gem.
I noticed that a while back too, and I come to the conclusion that Xianxias are mainly aimed at a younger audience…
I understand why older people won't see it. It feels like they generally believe older people are always unreasonable. Or they just want to make youngers ones more reasonable and humans better than gods.
But it's very annoying because the older you get the more you come to understand things better. Maybe not in all cases, but there is a general saying, the older you get, the wiser you become. That's never the case in Chinese ancient dramas. It's like the older they get the more stupid they become.
Why are Chinese gods always silly old people? I really don't understand them. Whenever I see the king, I am so reluctant to continue the drama. I feel every problem that will arise will be because of those old people trying to force their rules. Those nonsense rules that don't even make sense.
Well... she could just have followed him. So her love was not strong enough?
Nope. That's not it. He didn't need to token pass to return because the gate was opening. If she wanted to, she could have followed. The pass was simply a different way to pass without going through the gate

I came here for Liu Xueyi alsoπ₯±
I just wanted to vent because the emperor keeps getting on my nerves and I feel like he would be the reason for most problems that would develop.
Like while trying to prevent a misfortune, he is going to end up creating a Disaster
