When they were married, I understand he didn't like her or didn't want to marry her. But he had no sense of respect for his apparent wife, no courtesy or manners even if you didn't like the person, if you are reasonable, you guys would build the minimal form of relationship, maybe mutual respect, understanding or even friendship.
