Where is this available to watch? :)
That's because it's a netflix original series so it's exclusive to netflix. It might go on sale eventually though in Japan so it's a matter of waiting for now since I'm not sure how readily available netflix would allow it to be.

I didn't like the sound of the plot but Joong Ki's in it and I watched a teaser and it actually looks really cute~ I'm interested in seeing Song Hye Kyo and Kim ji Won again since I haven't seen much with them in it.

I don't like Park Shin Hye's acting but this plot sounds interesting and it sounds like a different role for her so I think I'll watch it anyway.

I quite liked Heirs, not for the main couple though. Every side character who got their decent bit of screen time were all very good and the actors/actresses portraying them were brilliant. I think Heirs could have been really good if the writers had strayed from the generic and made Cha eun sang fall for Choi Young Do instead as he was the more interesting love interest. It was definitely 100 times better than Boys over Flowers though.

Also from what I've watched and seen Park Shin Hye is in my opinion a bad actress, no matter what people say about "the writers wrote it like that" I've never seen her pull off a convincing role that requires more than 1 or 2 expressions, I think she should try some different genres, I'd like to see what she can do. Lee Min Ho I think in this role is the one who experience that "writers wrote it like that" because I've never personally liked most of the roles he's in but I don't think he's a bad actor.

Great article by the way! I'm interested in more of these "In Defense of", I wonder if you can rekindle an interest in some people's dropped series.

I totally understand you, I couldn't understand why people liked boys over flowers and some other dramas I can't think of right this moment that I thought were just mediocre or I couldn't stand them. Though I do wanna ask about the reply 1997 because it was regular filming of a student life but it was a more realistic romance compared to a good few romance dramas as far as I remember, what part was boring for you? I can't say it's one of my favs but I did enjoy it.

Also you only watch romance dramas? I've always been interested in talking to someone who only watches one genre, why do you only watch romance? Does that mean you've never watched shows like School 2013 or if it's not categorised as romance you'll never watch it even though a romance could develop in any type of show just as it would in a romance? Not pushing upon your preferences but I feel like you're really missing out. If you ever watch something not because it's a romance or have watched anything write an article about that sometime, I'd really like to hear about it.

Ouroboros won best comedy/romance drama? It's not even categorised as a comedy/romance on this site so I don't know why people could vote for it in the first place. This is what happens when people blindly vote their favourite dramas in every category without any consideration to what it should win. I'm glad it did really well though, I loved it.

I'm disappointed that Death Note didn't win anything but since it was against Ouroboros which was really good and it was brand new in comparison to Death Note which already had a live action movie so I can see why. People also has a bad opinion of it since it had a slow start but it got really really good and is definitely one of my favourites this year. Lights actor was also spot on.

I was so surprised to see that the webtoon has been adapted into a drama! I really love the story and the visuals of the drama really match up so far, I hope the feeling is matched well and the atmosphere too(those who have read it will know what I'm talking about)!

Why is the Beautiful Bride so low on the Action/Thriller/Suspense category? It was outstanding in those genres. Kill me, Heal me and Healer are winning everything simply because people are voting their favourite dramas for every category no matter what. It also has an amazing ost for how sad it is.

Loving the show, but I've got a rant: Why do you all assume Taek's sexual orientation just because he is "quiet"…
I'm not jumping to generalisations or making sexist statements, that's how the writers did it for the other Reply dramas and how korean writers do it for a lot of dramas, they make the gentle character the gay one.

I also think of misaeng when I see taek! I also like the female lead more in this version so far since the female lead was made nasty in one of the other versions.

I'm interested in the love line between Duk Sun, Kim Jung Hwan and Sun Woo. I've seen a lot of people say about Taek instead of Kim Jung Hwan but I'm somehow convinced that his gentle nature will make him the gay character this time around.

Although I'm Jung Hwan's fan but I'm looking forward to a love triangle between Duk Sun, Sun Woo and Teak!!! :))
I think Kim Jung Hwan will be one of the main love interests instead of Taek

so who is the lead do you think? Park bo geum or go kyung pyo?
Jung hwan seems like the main lead who she doesn't seem like she'd like but you gotta remember in the Reply dramas it's not the obvious choice and then Sun won will be the one she likes probably but they won't work out. Bo Gum is most likely the gay character and will end up liking Sun won since there's been that in the other versions especially with how gentle he is, he'd never get the girl.

I watched the 1st episode and know I will like it. Right now I don't know which one will be Duk Sun's man. Even…
I think taek is more likely the gay character in this version than a lead

I've only watched the first episode but I get the impression that Kim Jung Hwan will be the one she gets with because in the other reply dramas it's not usually the obvious choice but the one the female lead is less kind too and ignores her more and then in the preview for the next episode Sun woo says she's been cuter lately and usually the feelings of the 2nd male lead develop more obviously first with him being the obvious choice. Or maybe I just have 2nd lead syndrome in which I wish the brooding bad boys got the girl like Choi Young Do got the girl in The Heirs and that Tae Gwang from School 2015 would too but alas the better choice is often not the female leads choice.

On The Vampire Lives Next Door To Us Sep 18, 2015
I hope this is good! Since vampires are trending this year in korean drama with orange Marmalade being very good and Blood being for me anyway bad. But the story seems a lot different this time considering it's not focused on a vampire mingling with humans but rather a dead girl. I shall definitely give this a try even though it's only a short movie!

Title Mrs. Cop Spoiler
6th episode in and I have to say the character Min Do Yeong is really intolerable, why is she so stupid? How was she allowed to be a cop in the first place? She's getting angry at Han Jin Woo when the girl could have stabbed that guy and gone to jail too or actually just died right there and he stopped that but she's acting like he killed her. I hope gets yelled at by Choi Yeong Jin for the way she acts soon.

Isn't he a little...thin? I've only seen a few minutes of the anime, but the main thing was his size. He doesn't…
Well it'd be extremely hard to find someone who is both a giant and a good actor. The character in the anime is extremely unrealistically huge so it'd be hard to even find that person normally, nevermind to play the character.

the anime is quickly becoming one of my favorites and i'm excited for a live action adaptation but i don't know…
They're only acting, this happens in tons of shows.
