So what? It's not like he harmed FL in any way by accepting the job. Even if he helped the wrong girl it has nothing to do with the decision of management to ditch trio and make that girl go solo in future. So there was not one reason for her to be angry unless she is a spoiled self entitled bitch who thinks the world revolves around her but the description said "hopeful and a kind-hearted". Do you get it now why the writing is stupid?

This one is definitely a step forward for c-dramas.

I was wondering about the same thing. That plot was beyond stupid. Alright, he did set up lighting and helped that girl but that is his job which he was hired for. It's not like he had any decision power about her debut or anything... It's like blaming a temp worker for big evil boos plans lol.. stupid writing.

This a waste of your time. Don't watch it.

This was actually not so bad but FL's voice... just why?

I guess I wasn't the only one who was bothered by that... how do I even describe that voice. She sounds like a 10 year old crying for ice cream to me.

Hard work doesn't equal good show and we are objective enough to see its faults. We actually watch for the plot and not fangirling over some actor.

Hmm how to answer this. A drama you actually need to concentrate on conversation, small actions and gestures to "see" the whole plot and actors who have done a really good job presenting that to us. This is why people say it gets boring. Because everyone loves quick ordinary fluffy and cute dramas to relieve the boredom and the outer shell of this show seems like that but this one is a really slow one and relies on an interaction of actors which you see rarely therefore we really appreciate such rare gems. In short this one is a slow burn plot.

They tried to do 3 things in this drama: E-sports, music and romance and to be honest it was ugh. I can't agree with myself which part of this drama is the worst. Is it plot, acting or something third? Half of the cast is annoying as f*ck. It's like they picked up some random genres and actors and just jumble them together with all the possible cliché. Is this drama about e-sports? Noup. Is this a pure romance drama. Noup. Music? Ok maybe. No idea what the heck I was watching to be honest. The whole battle between male lead and the third wheeler (Ding Jia Yun) was just lol. Main lead is officially on my ban list as an actor after watching Put Your Head on My Shoulder and this and the actor who played third wheeler is just too old for this role so it it looks ridiculous when they are in the same scene. The only thing that pulled this is female lead who did a bit of justice to this show with her singing but again I think screenwriters forgot half way trough that she is a celebrity in this drama so even that was done half baked. OST was probably the best part. I think half of the budget went there so 8.4. Who gave such a high rating?

This is one of those rare type of shows you absolutely shouldn't binge watch if you want to enjoy it and it's worth every minute of waiting.

If you watched anything you would know that all those plots you listed are generic and happen all the time in this type of dramas so yeah zero similarity between the two.

You are comparing K-drama with C-drama, really? And if you watched DOTS and this I am sure you noticed that there is literally zero similarity between the two.

Main couple were total jokesters. They just smiled and joked so much. Smiling couple and to my surprise the best wingman for both secondary and tertiary couple which I really don't remember seeing often. The problems were solved quickly and no annoying characters. Everything just went smoothly lol. Anyway this maybe is 3rd or so Chinese drama that I really liked and enjoyed so I may be a bit biased here. Nevertheless I will remember this one for a long time.

Any new news? I wrote a year (pre-corona period) ago here that the word will end before this airs and we got a virus in the meantime so I don't want to jinx it again so give me news pleaseee???

It's gonna keep dropping. This is not a drama that should be binge watched cuz it gets "boring", but actually it doesn't if you watch it gradually.
