Dropped the show after the boat task.I get that constantly having them do individual tasks might take up more…
This show gave me so much respect for Chu Sung Hoon. His experience and thoughtfulness and wisdom really showed. I like that he didn't immediately go for the bulkiest people when picking his team members, and I think his careful picking of team members along with his tactics during the game (for example lifting the boat when pushing) both combined to give his team such a quick time. And look how he still voluntarily chose a woman to join his team even when he could've gone for all-men. He knows that gender alone does not determine strength.
--If the women and smaller men were that much weaker, they wouldn’t have managed to complete the challenge, let alone do so in such a close time to a team perceived to have a large advantage over them. Especially considering that one of their ten had a leg injury.--
This whole paragraph ^. Some of the other (male) contestants were so derisive about this team when discussing the boat challenge. One even said, seemingly respectfully (but ultimately very offensively) something along the lines of "Nevermind completing the task, if this team manages to move the boat at all, that would already be very impressive." The fact that they finished only 2 minutes behind the other team really proves that, if that one man had not been injured (like, how can he have contributed with moving the boat if he couldn't even stand on his leg? He couldn't, end of line, which means they were operating with 10% less power) they would have beat the other team's time.
Sung Bin really disappointed me, honestly. His behavior throughout those episodes revealed some arrogance that I hadn't expected, and I don't know how to feel at all about him letting the other contestant sacrifice himself in the next, individual challenges, from the spoilers I've read in the rest of the comments section. I guess I expected more sportsmanship altogether.

They did what?! I dropped the show before that happened. Wow, that is so messed up. :o It's unclear how much time they get off between the different challenges, but it definitely doesn't seem like the contestants got much of a break. For a show that supposedly respects these athletes and sportspeople so much, they sure aren't putting a lot of care into their ensured physical wellbeing. :|
I dropped the show because of how the decisions by the production team (specifically regarding the team games)…
Dropped the show after the boat task. I get that constantly having them do individual tasks might take up more time, but if you are genuinely looking for the 'best' body, team work should not play such a big part at all. The moment they introduced team tasks, the show became so bad. The way the teams were put together was very aggravating. Jang Eun Sil was actually the 10th highest valued player, which is why she got picked as a team leader. Yet, instead of having the team leaders pick team members in turn (the way teams are usually picked together in games like this. First have leader A pick 1 member, then leader B pick 1 member and so forth until everyone has picked 1 member, and then return to leader A for the 2nd member etc. Which is how you get balanced teams and the team leaders have to do some tactical thinking on which member they want to prioritize picking) they make the members choose their most preferred team leader. Then the members immediately discard the idea of joining Jang Eun Sil. If she was really such a weak member that they don't want to pick her, then why did she become the 10th most valued player? If they are purely judging her on gender, which they did, well, she's only 1 woman. Most teams had at least 1 woman (except for Sung Bin, who actually had the audacity to brag later on that his team being the only all-male one made his team the most desirable, wtf.) so if the men had given her a fair shot, she could have easily made up a team with 4 other men. And if they don't join her team because 'hers will be the weakest', they make it a self-fulfilling prophecy that way. If they had valued each team leader with the same worth and gone for leadership skills, every team leader would have had an equal pick of members and it would have been balanced out (Jang Eun Sil really displayed some awesome leadership qualities!!). By everyone (except for that one lady whose name I forgot, bless her) immediately refusing to join Jang Eun Sil out of their own will, they are the ones who made it so that her team would be made up of the 'unwanted' people.
The division of the teams was pretty unfair, partly through the fault of the producers and partly because of the blatant sexism of the contestants. Jang Eun Sil, initially (I repeat) the 10th most valued player, became an 'undesirable' just like that, just through the creating of the teams. She managed to then go on and prove her worth, but then there was *another* team task. If you are giving the contestants a skewed amount of agency when picking who they want to team up with, don't do *multiple* tasks with that same team! They should have gone back to an individual task after the sandbags OR broken up the teams and have them team up in a different way. I actually think that, in spite of how her team was formed, Jang Eun Sil's team was pretty good. There being 3 women did NOT make them weaker than the other teams. I think what doomed them all was being forced to then team up with the other team, which had 1 injured person. If you have a task where it's so important that everyone pull their weight (pun intended), because there's only 10 people for such a behemoth task, well, if 1 out of those 10 people, which is 10%, which is HUGE, can't even walk because his foot is injured, that is such a big setback for the whole team. Honestly, if that dude had not been injured, I feel that they would have beat Sungbin's time. But he was injured, they lost, and it became 'proof' for the sexist contestants that the more women in a team, the weaker the team will be.
I dropped the show because of how the decisions by the production team (specifically regarding the team games) skewed the results. I will go further into detail with spoilers.
