this is exactly how I feel about few other cross cultural dramas, while I get the whole play it slow, it feels super slow and much more safe than it needed to be, it's like I am watching teenagers stepping into real life for the first time. ML is acting like he is semi autistic and like he was just existing for how entire life without seeing another human. I got the same vibes from "eye love you" drama where FL acted like she just spawned on earth and had no idea how to do social interactions.
Get a life i found u in every dramas giving bad reviews tf if u don't like kdramas or wtv is wrong w u don't watch…
I don't know about his other reviews, but for these few episodes that I've watched, he's more than right, while I am not saying this drama is super dogshit, as it has its good sides, he's view is valid, and I have to say that ML is kinda restarted and semi autistic, as have been more of MLs in part few years of newer dramas. I've watched over 100+ kdramas, and there is a reason I keep watching them, but the shit that is in the constant loop over the last 5 years of kdramas is just exhausting and feels like they've been written by someone with no sense of reality. My main problem so far was "why create fights for the sake of having a plot", like if you don't have an idea for a full series, don't start filming one with 1/3 of the script finished, and don't even get me started on that intro, yikes, looks like an Indian Instagram reel of 3 views made with AI.
It’s not their problem if you choose to watch only CEO dramas and then complain, “Why are MLs always CEOs?"
no ofc now, not every drama is about ml CEOs, however if you broaden the general theme or idea, is clear that in recent years there's an overwhelming number of dramas where ML is smart, rich, attractive, world's best cook, plays 3 instruments, reads emotions, genius in every field, son and successor of the biggest company in the city, while the FL is a semi-mid random basic girl that is as useful as a d*CK on an car wheel.
