In 2011 ,there was a chinese adaptation of the novel called scarlet heart
In 2015 ,K-industry made a adaptation of the novel called Moonlovers : Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
And now Thailand are going to make adaptation of the novel.

So if we want to say original story then it will be the novel Bu Bu Jing Xin because all of the drama version are based on it

Korean series itself is a adaptation of chinese novel scarlet heart(2006)
and this series also based on the chinese novel

there is no romance in the genre so you can chill and c-industry never allows romantic scenes with a minors.
even if they show that they have a crush(in the novel the fl is 15 years old who has a crush on the ml as far i heard) then they will show it like flourish in time where the fl was a minor as well also aimi in my journey to you is a minor ,there were no romantic scene between them

Personally I want JJY to act with mature actors because i felt more chemistry with them.

First of all i don't blv one sided story .About those hot searches,The YXH never sided with anyone,be it him or his co-star,they mocked him as well and he himself is getting 30+ black hot searches since the broadcast of Chong Zi including face shaming,body shaming,his personal life etc.
