This would be such a PLOT TWIST! I was thinking she could be the heavenly mother, one of the 4 celestial beasts, but didn’t register what she could be when she has white hair! If it’s true it would MAKE SENSE cause in the preview it seems like the 3 demon lords know her. And the whole point of her being half human and half demon 😫😫😫👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️ I’m so excited to know more! Can’t wait for tonight’s eps!

So true!!! In the beginning I wanted a full on kiss, but after witnessing their kind of love, I’ve come to realize this probably fits better. The both of them aren’t afraid to express or show the love one another. They can still make me blush, giggle and kick my feet with joy without the passionate kisses ❤️❤️❤️

Seriously, the eps that’s been out for the past 3 days have put me in this laugh then cry then laugh then cry again mode. XiaoYe’s relationship progression we get to see, has just been so sweet and heartwarming. You could tell they are willing to do anything for each other. My Xiaoyao has matured so much and I’m so glad she uses her brain and is always so thoughtful about how she goes about certain things.
My Hongye, this character I’m just loving more and more. Hongye in the present is much more mellow than his past self from tonight’s eps. I love the slow burn, they do it well and I love how they show they care and love each other from gestures to their gaze. He has so much to his story I feel, and the future eps seem like it’s going to dive into that so I’m super stoked to see how he was.
Our sweet treasure grampie… he was the cutest. Knowing why they were there but tested them out. He even made Hongye confess his true feelings. I cried cause it felt like he was Xiaoyaos dad, looking after his daughter. And the matching blue outfits? BEAUTIFUL. They both look so damn good in that color and their moments together has just gotten so much better as time goes on!
Now, for the 3 demon lords, I’m SO EXCITED to see exactly who they are and what in the world happened. It seems like it was implied that Hongye had something to do with them being sealed for 10 thousand years. I have to say, the white snake/dragon is cute and so funny how he made his entrance. I’m intrigued lol. I have a feeling they were with Xiaoyao years ago.
Ep 26 though, made me laugh, feel the love and all giddy with butterflies in my stomach. No wonder Hongye fell for Ning’an aka XiaoYao. She truly knows him(although he doesn’t know she already knows him) and she has such a warm and pure heart. Even her character has made me fall in love with her. She’s so funny and such a strong character. The scene where they talk on top of the rooftop has me shedding tears and feeling some kind of feeling that just hurts from within. I’m super emotional so maybe that’s why the past couple eps has me crying and shedding tears, but I think just knowing how much they’ve been through, how Hongye lost his powers and feeling depressed, how she’s willing to go back and get/find his primordial for him, like just everything is just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻❤️❤️❤️ god, I love this series already and I love my XiaoYe. I can’t wait to see their story and truly find out what in the world actually happened between them. I feel it’s gonna be LOTS of tears and “WHY?!?!?!” Moments but until we get there. To those who have reached this end, thanks for reading. To those who decided to drop it because of whatever reason, please give this a try. I find that it truly picks up at ep 20. If by then, you’re still not convinced, then thank you anyway for trying to watch. Anyways, can’t wait for tomorrow’s eps!

I'm with you on the kissing. It's definitely different and with how many kiss scenes we've got already, I've let my hopes dwindle down for the passionate kisses lol. I think they want more focus on such things like the hand holding, having each others back, the eye gaze (i think their gazes are a strong point so A++++++!!) basically showing they love each other in other ways besides passionate kiss scenes, although who would mind if we get just ONE? LOL! Im excited to see what the next eps show but I'm so happy they don't go way too long with unresolved conflicts

As someone who's up to date with the latest ep, it's definitely worth to continue watching! About the ML not appearing, yes it does suck but you get to see him here and there. I think that arc that he doesn't appear in there as much, may just lay some grounds to more understanding for us viewers in future eps? And you know, 10 sec skip skip and on 2x speed helps lol. I had to do it. There are just some scenes where I'm just annoyed, and frankly, I just want to see Xiao Yao and Hong Ye lol. Never wrong to skip skip a bit *wink wink

You just have to push through it and if you're still not convinced after passing that arc, I would say you gave it a fair shot and it may just not interest you and that's absolutely okay :) but last nights 3 eps (20-23) really made me even more excited to see what's to come. is it just me? I got bored from episode 9. I started asking myself why I'm watching this.
I'm sorry to hear this. It's totally understandable. The beginning of the drama always depicts whether you're gonna be drawn to it or not. It definitely does move a little slower than I would like, but I like the chemistry of the ML/FL. His character in this one is definitely more mellowed out, not as flirty and out there romantic like his other characters he's played, but is still romantic in a way that (for lack of word) isn't kid-like? I can't think of a better word so excuse me on that lol. It's nice to see it though. Reminds me a bit of his character in BFTB if you've seen it. The illusion arc is definitely a long draggy one, but I think it shows us viewers something and may possibly lay down some stuff for the future eps. But I wrote too much, sorry. I do want to say, it does get better once that arc is done. The latest 3 eps made me cry and laugh. Their relationship gets better too. I hope you continue to watch it and let me know your thoughts :)

I had a feeling that Princess Ning’an was the present her who went back in time 😭 seriously, whoever is doubting this series, please give it a try! It’s honestly so good and keeps you wanting to know more. And yes, that mist arc deal where our Hongye isn’t really there, BUT just 2x speed it or use the 10 second skip button like I did lol 😂 IM SO EXCITED!!!!!! First drama of TS and I really enjoy her acting! She’s so funny too, she can really pull it off! HMH is just so beautiful, but do note that I personally find his character so far in this series, more mellow than his other characters so if you feel like something is different, maybe that’s why? Omg! The story is progressing really well! Much better now that our Hongye is back! These last 3 eps 21-23 were just funny and made me cry/shed a tear. I’m so happy for Wu Huan, this actor is cuteeeeee. But I’m STOKED to see the story continue in tomorrows eps. I want to know more about the demon calamity that Hongye was worried about.
