It was a awkward moment, anyone would feel awkward and in a daze if he was looking at her like that. I can see how you would think about that, but in episode 1 it was clear he was attracted to her because of her beauty, idk if it was just me but it seemed like he was going to eat her up lol. Yeah at the start I don't think he was deeply attracted but I could see in episode 5 that it was stronger emotions, caring about her etc. Imho, I felt that Jett was attracted to her earlier than Ta because of the way he acted on his feelings, she would be angry at Jett and when she saw him with other woman I never felt that she felt jealous which is another sign I thought she was attracted later on, she would care too much about Rin to even think of Jett imo, or being attracted to him. He didn't need to have guilt so I don't see where the guilt comes from, if anything it's clear that he felt like Rin wasn't something to be really guilty about, if anything her death was a mystery imo. She also was still in love with her boyfriend until episode 9, to me it was clear she didn't like Jett and while possibly there might have been attraction, I did not see it until episode 8, besides in the end it's revealed that he fell in episode 5 while she thought it just hate, no attraction. To me, it feels like this is always a strong case of male chases female first, idk that's just my opinion. I wholeheartedly support your way of thinking.

Okay but what's with those kisses, the leads have pretty good chemistry and this isn't a youth romance (I typically avoid those but...), if I see another fish eyed kiss I'm calling 911. I get it if the first few kisses, are bland but all of them T-T... Other than that kind of enjoying this xD.

Well, that can be subjective. Imho she definitely hated him when he became attracted to her, I could see the hate. When he kissed her all she had was disgust, not a inch of attraction the forced hug in the end is because she flustered since nobody went there with her, but I still thought she wasn't attracted to him.
