It was also a disappointment for me, they didn't capture the essence, I am now watching Prince Who Turns into a Frog remake (Thai) hopefully they are at least on par with remakes and better than this one, I know the actors have good chemistry so If you also liked Prince Who Turns into a Frog check that out : ) I'll be giving updates on whether to watch that or not : )

@Miss Latebloomer To answer your question I liked this version but charecter development and the second couple were definitely better in Begin Again, I loved Begin Again despite being an fan of Kim and James Ma, this has a lot of the Thai Drama cliches if you liked Begin Again (which was different, mostly different and with a better ending begin again ending was great) then its worth giving this a try just look out for an harvard degree going to waste lmao and an second couple that has a shitty resolution. With Namcha ( Who if you've watched Rak Kan Panlawan and loved her there) Will have problems with her character here...

That's nice to hear, If you loved the Taiwanese one like me, I don't think you start to feel the essence in the First four episodes, I'll watch for like 3 more episodes to see if I truly am Liking it or boring myself out if by that time you haven't watched it yet, I would be glad to tell you if this really is worth it or not if you wan't : )
