but even taking a business class doesn't prepare you for the wiles of the business world. Doing business takes knowing the hearts and minds of people. this is where our FL falls short. she only knows her inner circle and how they behave. Even in her inner circle she was shook mentally and emotionally.

Why did GMA hate LYS?
Simple. because her sister told the grandmother that LYS's mother was a gold digging homewrecker. And that LYS was out for his money.
She didn't want her grandchild to be in a relationship with someone from a broken home, low morals, and a bad reputation.
This is normal in Asian dramas, class prejudice. Even if her mother wasn't a homewrecker, she would not have let them date because LYS came from a broken home, and probably middle class.
I'm only on episode 9. I assume S1 & S2 would have fit in 26 episodes without all the flashbacks. a flashback of what just happened in the same episode ....smh
