episode 21... why was yhe empress on the run. this format is so scattered I get lost in the flashbacks. they don't even seem to be in order. I really dislike this format.

I'm so glad the contract came to light. but so disappointed in the writers. they could have used a different trope. the create contract, keep it a secret, contract gets discovered by the enemy trope is tired. it still causes me anxiety Everytime, but it also is less appealing because you already know what's going to happen.
writers of Asian dramas need to start digging a little deeper and start writing new intrigues.

Yeh, that latest survival was a bit too much. falling off a cliff, yeh we expect you to survive in dramaland. but he was already sick and weak, then he was stabbed in the chest and the stomach I think. and he is still breathing....smh
their whole storyline is just weird. it doesn't fit the rest of the story.
maybe based of off the original works, and maybe that is where you get your understanding of their relationship. but I this series alone their relationship makes no sense. at least for now it doesn't. maybe they will shed more light on the basis of their relationship. but for right now new viewers only know they had a short encounter after a great fall
