I think they chose the correct actress for Prince Li.
she is adorable as a girl, and cute as a boy. THANKFULLY, they didn't put noticable makeup on her face while she played Prince Li.
She doesn't whine too much and is very sensible...her character is well balanced. She isn't causing all kind of issues.
I also love that they made the main characters MATURE. They have their own issues but it's not a constant battle between them. Both are strong minded, strong willed, and can still let go and move on. That is hard to find in Asian dramas

my other thought was that JDJ's real mom .. if she hears about the birthmark, she will know that it is her ex husband who is the rightful heir. since she slept with both men she knows who has and who didn't have the birthmark. what if JDJ has the same birthmark .. 😂

it's the way they place the camera, the angle, view.
I don't know how to explain it. in many...not all Korean dramas the view looks almost like a home video or someone's personal video rather than a professional video.
this is a Chinese drama but occasionally I see Korean cinematography. the close up views, looking like Korean Soaps. that's my only flaw with the series.
really loving it. I like it better than the one Xu Kai is playing in now.
