I forgot all about this show. I unintentionally dropped it. I went to watch it again and as soon as FL spoke, I intentionally dropped it. I was really looking forward to enjoying this series. but directors choices for FL are annoying.

My biggest issue with Jing is why is he not home calling off the engagement? Why can’t he just send a letter…
he moved as a defeated person. I have no expectations of him being great although I'm sure he will become great. but his demeanor SCREAMS....SWEET LOVING LOSER
Ep 19. at this point I want everyone to die and the writers to think this over again. the males are on extreme ends of each spectrum. none of them are green flags, not even Jing...since he is spoken for and so weak that he can't even protect himself.

definitely a disappointment. she has only contributed 1 thing and that was the truth of the letter. now that we have that, she can sink to the bottom of the ocean .. 😂
16 was dragging only because I'm too anxious for the reveal. all this other fluff was unnecessary and didn't add anything to the story. definitely could have done without fengfangfoofighter,
TY is a mistake, she should have thought that through. I guess she didn't learn her lesson on following her heart. but what is a drama without unnecessary drama lol

Annings story makes no sense to me. she looks older but she's the younger sibling. she went to the military as a child...lol...smh. She is a general but knows nothing about strategy. she has been practically poisoned by her servant and is clueless. her servant went missing and was hurt and she was clueless. then she believes a total stranger. now that she has revealed dowager's mess, they need to kill her off .. 😂

even the fighting is dry and slow.
what a meaningful episode. great Ep for moving in.
the actress for FL is the best for this role. I can't think of another actress that could fulfill this role as good as she has.
