took me forever to find this on MDL because I was searching Summer of Our Youth 😂

did not like the beginning of ep1
at first I was turned off with the comedy - but thankfully the writers balanced everything out well. It is not cheesy comedy.
I like that SO FAR - there are no stupid characters. Everyone is not scheming but they are thinkers.
I love the FL's sidekick - she is always a good sidekick - lol
I love that FL is confident yet not arrogant and most of all she does not rush to act.
I can already tell that the King will be someone we love but right now he is misunderstood or intentionally causing the misunderstanding.
The upcoming episodes will be interesting because our FL is smart, calm and strategic - and she will be against a vile murderous and jealous woman. LOL, what a contrast.

If you start and get turned off by the first 10 or so minutes - just fast forward to the plane scene. The story is interesting. Characters are interesting. I hope the writers can keep the balance between - historical etiquette, romance, comedy and fantasy.

What I do like is the disconnect between the future and the past. LOL when they clearly don't understand FL and they are still in agreement. LOL

I love the animated food-gasms. I look forward to many more of those.
I also love when FL says something like "sear, searing" and they attempt to repeat it and say "cheer, cheering" lol - hilarious. Simple but funny moments. Its comedy that actually fits with the storyline - not just senseless comedy.

However, for right now I am totally disliking this King. burning homes, kidnapping people and putting FL in a fight she did not ask for.

I can't wait for this father & son "Karen" pair to get what is coming to them.

sorry for any spoilers. I didn't think I was that detailed. but I guess I was.

An opinion is a subjective judgment or belief not necessarily based on facts, a preference is liking one thing over another. Those are the words that I used. FEELINGS ARE EMOTIONS. I do not recall stating anything about ratings involving personal feelings (from my standpoint). I believe I said - ratings are opinions and preferences (- not feelings.)

why would you wait to rate an episode? they are rating the episode, not the whole drama.

when people rate, they either rate after each episode or after the whole series.

whichever they prefer. Impatient to share their negative opinion. is it negative because it doesn't align with the way that you feel about the series?

if someone doesn't like some thing - why is that considered negative. It's a personal preference. are you saying that people who don't find a series favorable should wait to rate it not rate at all?

the only time a less favorable rating is negative is when someone isn't happy with the rating. When there is disagreement. there shouldn't be disagreement about people's opinions and preferences.

These are TV shows and people are involving their personal feelings. No one should be upset about a rating for a TV show.

Also, because someone doesn't like a show - doesn't mean the show is bad. Maybe they just didn't connect with it. For whatever reason it is each individuals choice and preference to vote how they like when they like.

No one should be disdained because they honestly disliked an episode or a series.

Also people forget that everyone doesn't rate or vote - so the rating is only a sample of our views. Most people don't even know you can rate per episode and only rate once series are completed.

LOL, why are people mad at the rating?
I mean you can question it. Sure! But to be upset is mind boggling.
People have opinions and preferences - DIFFERENT THAN YOURS. That does not make them a hater.

Also - when a drama tries to cover - these 4 genres or categories - Historical, Comedy, Romance, and Fantasy - it is bound to fail somewhere. That may be what turned viewers off.

If you are upset about a 7.7 rating so soon, take that same logic - it is too early to be concerned about the rating.

Also, please be aware that on MDL - it is never too soon to rate. Why? Because a feature of this platform is to be able to rate each episode that you watch. Welcome to MDL...
