If you read fanfiction you might know that there's tag called p*rn without plot---- that's what they're.They've no interest in stories, acting, plots cinematography, music anything just give them nc scenes and they'll ride the heck out of it. Instant gratification has spoiled them to the core.If that's what I want I'll go and watch some corn with real penetration not some fake f*cking. Only this novel go with the virus thing. Don't assume every omegaverse has this element. In most other omegaverse you’ll not find anything like that. It just a genre of it's own. A world of it own. They're other genres similar to this like --- dom/sub verse, esper/guide verse etc. Every other genre has its own world and rules. If not wrong it is started by Supernatural fandom. Some claim it's started by Exo fandom. But Supernatural fandom has the earliest works in this genre. Idk, might be wrong too.

They're extremely possessive about their favorite cps and their cringe acting. A few days back someone messaged me and asked who are my favorites bl cps. Here people have 3 secondary genders other then being m/f/others. Those are called alpha, beta, omega. This is the main component of omegaverse stories. But some stories include an extremely rare master sub gender and they're called enigmas. However these stories are very rare. In general omegaverse the Alphas are at the top and dominent , omegas are at the bottom and submissive and betas are neutral in society. Im most stories only 20 percent of the whole population are alphas or omegas rest are betas. Irrespective of the primary gender omegas can get pregnant by alphas where also gender doesn't matter. Both m/f alphas can impregnate male omegas. But the stories where they're enigmas, they can mess up anyone.
There are whole set of rules, details are there too, but nothing is rigid. Anyone can do anything with this genre. But you'll get confused as a beginner.
It has it's own world. Some terms include pheromones, marking, nesting, ruts, heats, coller, packs, fated mates, non fated mates, scenting, mpreg, biting, presenting, slick , knotting and so many more.
