It was cute and I'm glad I watched it, but felt a little lacking. It didnt feel like there were enough moments showing them falling for each other. There were moments they got closer, but most of them didnt feel romantic. It just felt like two people getting to know each other. There was only 2 or 3 moments that felt like signs they were developing feelings and it didnt feel like enough to warrant So Huen giving up his whole life for a chance that Ki Wan would follow. It was a cute series that luckily had a super sweet ending, and it is definitely worth a one time watch. It just would've been much better if there were more moments of them obviously falling for each other.
I'm honestly not surprised at all that Mint killed/possibly killed Dew, I've been sus of her and kinda saw it coming. However this is a different instance right? Because the first time Dew was shot the person wasn't wearing high heels and had a biker helmet on. So does that mean Mum now has to prevent 2 murders? The time line is so confusing for me..
Also, while Mint really pisses me off since she wont take a damn hint, I was still angry with Dew this episode for not being upfront and honest with her. The Mint in Dew's world does have every reason to be pissed off and upset right now, not that that gives her any right to kill him. While I don't agree with her method of bothering Dew until he finally said yes, Dew is the one that agreed to date her. In his world they are dating so he is cheating on her with Mum. It's really irritating me that he won't break up with her when he obviously doesn't like her that way. Also as much as Aun irritates me as well, and he does seriously need to seek couseling or something, he actually technically isnt wrong when he says Dew is using Mint. Dew clearly has no romantic feelings for her and that flashback with his father talking about a girlfriend, then Mint pestering him again about dating, kinda made me feel like Aun is right. It feels like Dew is only dating Mint because he cares for her, he knows he can trust her, and he feels like it will ease his father's worry. I totally dont agree with Mint continually asking Dew until he finally says yes, but he also shouldn't string her along either. Try it out fine, but once he realized he definitely didnt feel for her that way he shouldve broken up with her and told her that. Knowing the way she is she may not have excepted it, but he should have at least tried.
I know, I've been suspecting her too. Technically this is a different murderer though right? Cause the first one that shot him wasnt wearing high heels and was also wearing a bikers helmet, like it was preplanned. This episode it seemed a spur of the moment decision because she has a gun and she is super pissed at him right now. Does this mean Mum has to prevent two different murders of Dew now..? The timeline really confuses me sometimes.
I've honestly really loved this series. I read the comic and despite how watered down and kinda rushed its been compared to it, its still been adapted faithfully. Its been funny and really cute so I didnt mind it being watered down, I dont need spice to enjoy my series. I am however very upset with episode 7. I'm assuming there was probably scheduling conflicts or something due to them needing to reshoot the whole thing, I'm not 100% sure. Whatever it was though, the way the shot the confession and reveal that they aren't dating other people completely ruined it. I'm sorry but it was so bad.. Not only did it look like Seon Ho wasnt looking in the right direction half the time, but it also fell so flat. There felt like there was no emotion in that scene and its suppose to be them finally realizing they can be together. I just hated it and honestly it kinda ruined the series for me. That is my favorite scene from the comic and with how it was done, I dont think I could rewatch this knowing its leading to this almost emotionless moment.
Loved this series so much!!! I really wish we'd gotten more time with the side couples though. Hopefully we get a S2 that can expand on the side couples stories π Especially RJ and Alex, I got nowhere near enough time with them π₯Ί
I adored this story and it's now become one of my favorites!! Everyone who worked on this did such an amazing job and the storytelling was done so perfectly! There were so many sweet heartfelt and adorable moments so it added to our heartbreak when we found out they had to leave, then the relief and love when they were able to come back. It was just so perfect! Both couples have amazing chemistry together and the Lee Jae Bin and Kim Seong Hyuk who played Choco and Milk played those roles so fantastically! I will never get over this series, it will stay in my heart forever. I really hope this gets a S2, it would make me so happy!!
I really liked ep 4. Itβs apparent that in whatever universe Dew is in he is clearly not into Mint. Itβs also…
I was starting to think that too, about Mint possibly being the murder! I didnt want to think it since she is Mum's sister and they are all each other has, but it would be a huge twist. And with how she is with Dew I could see her getting super angry when he falls for her brother. I'm still thinking its the uncle, but that is a little on the nose and obvious so I could see them pulling a twist.
Exactly! Going to the point of actually trying to punch him because he doesn't like her back? What sort of bullshit…
I know right, that is so true!! Same here π I get too invested in the series I watch sometimes. I have to take a step back and be like 'calm down, this isnt real' π
Loving it so far! Not gonna lie though Joey, Aun, and Mint are all pissing me off π‘ How many times does someone have to turn you down before you get it through your head they dont like you like that?! It makes it even worse that they're supposed to be best friends! In my honest opinion Mint is incredibly selfish to not think about how uncomfortable that probably makes Dew. For literal years Dew has been having to constantly turn her down because to him she is just his best friend. He doesnt want to hurt her, but he cant lie about how he truly feels so she is constantly putting him in a tough spot. AND THEN she gets all sad when he does turn her down again or calls her his best friend, like seriously?! A couple times I can get, but there should be a line! Also, Aun and Joey getting pissed at him for hurting her is making me so angry! He cant help that he doesnt feel that way about her, how is that his fault?! To threaten him about hurting her again when she is the one who keeps putting herself in that position is really messed up. Like it's literally inevitable that he's going to hurt her again because he's been very clear he doesn't like her that way, they all know that! Its also seriously annoying that people keep acting like they are dating when it seems like Dew has never been quiet about turning her down. Sorry about the long angry rant, it just seriously annoys me. I also hate the 'if it wasn't for you they'd like me' bullshit, that trope drives me crazy π I think it amped up my annoyance.
This looks good, excited to see Fort in something new! Its also nice to see Non in a main role cause I liked him in the few things I've seen him in, but they were all support roles. I'm also happy to see that Fort isn't being locked into only working with Peat. Don't get me wrong I love them together and would be super excited to see them do another series together, but one thing I kinda dislike is that a lot of times they get locked into working with one person their entire career. There's nothing wrong with it if they really enjoy working with the other person, I just think they should be able to branch out if they want to and sometimes it seems like they're not allowed.
Right! At this point why even bother having side couples at all! We've had like two scenes for each one with nothing…
Yeah that last episode felt pretty pointless. Nothing substantial really happened! More cute moments between the MC and thats it?! It felt like a filler episode π I'm super disappointed because I feel like the series had potential..
How was that a finale, it felt like a filler episode! While their sweet moments together are cute to watch, there was to much to wrap up for them to focus on that for the finale. The side couples may as well have not even been apart of the show cause all 3 of them were basically just getting started which really sucks cause I loved all of their storylines. Also, the drama with his mom was left hanging too! The only thing I can figure is that maybe they're planning on doing a second season cause that's the only thing that explains all the loose ends left. If not, there was so much pointless stuff in this series that they may as well have not even done..
Just finished this and while I loved it I did have a question.. What was that end scene with the teacher and that guy? It felt very out of place and random because aside from him helping the students we've learned nothing about his life. Was it in reference to something or did I miss something..?
Right! At this point why even bother having side couples at all! We've had like two scenes for each one with nothing…
Yeah, like halfway through this series the main couples story could already have been wrapped up. I dont mind them adding more to it, but they could've started developing the side couples more then. Instead they threw in the psycho mom thing and they havent even barely used that plot point π
at this point i just wish to see more of the side couples, the main one is getting a little boring and pretty…
Right! At this point why even bother having side couples at all! We've had like two scenes for each one with nothing really developing. Now we have one episode left! Unless they are doing a second season for the side couples, which I doubt, they may as well have not done them at all. It really sucks too because I honestly liked the story they set up for each side couple so its been a huge let down to not see them at all!
well 1st episode was funny and raunchy...but only 15 minutes?
Right thats what I thought. I'm a little worried they are going to have to rush the story too much to fit it into 8 epiodes. Hopefully some of the next ones are longer π€
wait so do we think this will be poly or just a love triangle?
It seemed poly to me. I'm praying it is because I've wanted to see a poly relationship in a series for forever. This is the only thing I've seen that gives me hope of getting one.
