Rewatching the episode and still can't believe Noey actually got a groom's procession to his uni graduation to…
Honestly, I'm not surprised it feels very him 😆
Right, I wasn't surprised at all when he moved on to Thi. I actually was more surprised when he brought Pam back up and wanted to ask her out again. All his actions up till then were pointing to the fact that he'd already fallen for Thi.
I loved this series, but I'm not going to lie the main couple Duen and Bohn started to irritated me alot. The other two couples were super cute though!! I am so sad we never got S2! Ram and King deserved more of their story told! Also, I really wish Perth would get another lead role cause he is a great actor.
If you want to watch this with good english subtitles, I highly recommend using the links from this website: https://world-of-bl.com/index.php/China/CounterAttack WARNING!! The site World Of BL li ks unfortunately has pron ads so be careful where you watch the episodes. I looked everywhere for good english subtitles, but everyone I found was hard to understand and I had to decipher it. This websites subs were the only good ones I can find and it also has the special episode. Also the World Of BL site also links uncut scenes from each episode that has one which helped fill gaps. The only unfortunate thing is, the youtube videos they link dont have english subs.. Anyway, just thought I'd post this for anyone wanting to watch this series.
What the f*** was that ending 😬😬also why Noey have to go back to thug life , isn't it breaking the character,i…
Yeah I feel the exact same way! I feel like all the progress Noey made throughout the episodes is going down the drain. They even made a point for him to walk right past the guy who stabbed his mother, but now all of a sudden in the last episode he is going back to his old ways.. It just doesnt make sense to me, I hope there is a good reason for it at least. The other thing that really annoyed me was the ending. Why have Noey be super flirty, ask to hold Thi's hand, ask to kiss him, say he'd follow him to Chiang Mai only to have him do that in the end. Maybe he wanted memories to help himself through the pain once he did that, I dont know, but it just irritated me. I know they'll explain more next episode, but after that preview I'm not looking forward to the last episode as much now...
Just wondering if anyone had preordered the boxset? I did, but I haven't received any sort of comfirmation email about my order. I tried to email their paypal where I sent the money, but got no response. Has this happened to anyone else?
The show is so amazing so far! They done such a good job with the writing and pacing of this series. They are doing a great job of giving every character the right amount of screen time without taking away from other characters stories. Other series need to take notes from this one on how to do a series right with this many character stories going at once. Most of the series I've seen try to do too many characters at once, it usually has bad pacing and ends up kind of a mess, so I've been pleasantly surprised by this one.
As for whats happened this week, I really hope Joe feels comfortable enough to talk to Army about how he is feeling. I feel like Joe doesnt like penetrative sex and I really hope they eventually talk about it and Army is understanding. I honestly can't imagine Army being a dick about it.. it just doesnt feel like his character, but you never know. I'm also super worried about Liu. When she was talking to her friends and her boss walked up she looked so uncomfortable.. I'm worried she's being sexually harassed at work. Especially when she then had to tell Ew her boss needed her to work over time.. I love Mollie and Nim, I'm stillI holding out hope they get back together. I have a bad feeling Bew is going to leave a pregnant Nim and go to America by herself.. Ew definitely needs some time to be alone and build up some self confidence. I'm mad at him for what he did to Liu, but my heart also broke for him when he was talking about himself that way. Calling himself a good for nothing and begging her like his life depended on it. It hurt to watch, especially when he looked so broken when she left. They havent told any of his past so it makes me wonder why he seems to hate himself so much and makes be worry he is going to do something.. I was so shocked by that ending, I definitely didnt see it coming. Captain is such a piece of shit, he needs to be shot 🤬
Cant wait to see what we have in store for next week!
I take it this never aired, which makes me so sad cause I loved these two. I just finished Discipline Z: Vampire and got excited when I saw this only to be disappointed that it never actually aired... 😫
This was such an amazing series! I cried like a baby at the end like I knew I would 😠Even the villians had be crying! Joke trying to make Long get up before realizing what happened... That broke my heart 🥺 There were certain plot choices I didnt like though. One main one being that Long and Joke decided to let them go, but then heard a noise in the room and instead of leaving went back inside. To me that doesn't make sense.. If they were going to let them go anyways, why would they care if they hear noise. It only bothers me so much because that's the only reason Long, Joke, and Gus die. Second, is the ending of episode 10 where Art wakes up. Its literally the same scene from episode 2, kind of implying that this was a dream and none of it happened. I've never been a fan of the 'this was all a dream' plot for the reason that it makes everything that happened pointless because none of it was real. So I wasnt a fan of that. However, I'm holding out hope for a S2 and I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until I see their reasoning for that scene.
Overall I loved this series and got super attached to the characters. As much as I loved it, I'm not sure I could rewatch it because the ending destroyed me.. I would be so happy for a S2 though!
I'm part way through this series and noticed there are two episode 10's, one being a director's cut that is longer and that your have to join their youtube to watch. Does anyone know, is the extra like 16 minutes worth paying the membership fee for?
I loved this so much! It was such a sweet and beautiful series and is honestly one of my favorites now! Even though they did everything over video with only a couple of meet ups in person, I didn't feel any disconnect to it. They still had amazing chemistry and really sweet moments that still have me smiling and giggling like a fool. Even though it was all done over video I never felt like it took away from that. For me, that actually added to how beautiful the ending scene felt when they met up and reconnected. I really commend everyone who worked on this. They did such a good job of making me feel connected to the characters and their moments together. They also did a really good job of having enough moments with the side characters/side couple for me to love them a lot, but not too much to take away from the main couple's moments and progression. More series should use this one as an example of how to do a series! The only thing I would have liked was for Xavier too tell Mico the truth about the song, that it was written for him. But even that dialog for me wasn't really needed because I could easily see them having a long conversation after the end scene and that coming up. I would have liked to see that, but I wasn't heartbroken that I didn't.
Would Rewatch: 10/10 I already want to rewatch and I just finished it 😆
I'm done, I think I'm dropping this... I really wanted to like the series, and at first I did, but as the episodes have progressed it's become less of an enjoyment to watch and more of 'Oh it's Saturday and I have to watch GAP today'. The characters are really annoying me and so is the storyline. Like, this whole time Mon has been furthering her relationship with Sam, she has never once cared about how Kirk might feel. Now all of a sudden that they're about to have sex, NOW she's like 'it's unfair to Kirk'. Seriously?! Why have her care now, she didn't care episodes ago when they were basically kissing or during all those other moments they've had. Its just a wierd dialogue choice this late in the series. The episodes have also been driving me crazy slightly. I swear it always either feels like a filler episode or another random misunderstanding or problem crops up to make one of them upset. I thought the grandmother was going to be the biggest hurdle in the series because of her prejudiced, but she's barely been in it and the series is almost over now. It's been cute at times and usually that's enough for me to like a series, but these dumb plot choices are just annoying me. I'm also not usually a big fan of cheating plotlines. I have to really like the characters/story to be willing to watch it and these latest episodes I dont like either. While I know Sam isn't technically cheating on Kirk because she doesn't feel for him that way, she is engaged to him. She is also leading him on because she keeps telling him things that make it seem like eventually they'll be together. I decided to give this a chance because it was a GL series and I know those don't usually get a lot of attention. I also did really like FreenBecky's chemistry from Secret Crush On You, but the series has just gone downhill for me since its gone on and its just not worth it to me. I do still really hope the series does well despite my not liking it because this is a really good step towards getting more GL's made since I know this one gained a lot of attention.
I liked the series and was happy to see there was special episodes, but was honestly disappointed in these. They were both cute epiodes and I loved that we got a glimpse into the future after the series ending. I also love that Thitnuea and Jean got their own episode because there wasn't enough of them in the series. However, both episodes just felt super randomized. The editing wasnt terrible, but it certain places it definitely wasnt smooth either. It kinda just felt like they had some cute clips of each couple that the made a compilation of and put it as a special. Kinda disappointed. Especially since we got nothing of the rest of the cast despite using the series opening. I do love the fact that both episodes brought up the marriage inequality in Thailand though, that made me happy.
I'm glad that despite the negative comments I decided to watch this anyway and form my own opinion because honestly I found this series super cute. Wasn't my favorite series, and I'm not sure I'll ever rewatch, but it was a cute one time watch. I didnt feel like I wasted my time like I have with other series. I will admit there were parts of the writing and plot that I had didnt like as much or thought was over the top. Also, the editing in like the last 3 episodes I thought was bad and it was annoying me, but overall I really liked the story. It's definitely not the series out there with the best acting or best story, but I thought everyone did a good job and I thought it had a cute story line. I like slow burn stories though, so maybe thats why. I'm also easy to please. As long as there is good acting and a storyline that is consistent and makes sense, I'm usually happy. My only real complaint is that the side couple didn't get more screen time. There were 2 other couples that were hinted at that I didn't mind getting little screen time of, but the main side couple Jean and Thitneau I wish had been a little more fleshed out.
I'm so torn on watching this.. I'm not sure if its true, but I heard it was kind of a sad ending for one of the main characters so I'm not sure if its worth putting myself through the pain. However, not only is First [who owns my heart and soul] and Ohm in it, but I'm also a new fan of Fluke so now I want to watch it even more. Is it worth it?
It was cute and I'm glad I watched it, but felt a little lacking. It didnt feel like there were enough moments showing them falling for each other. There were moments they got closer, but most of them didnt feel romantic. It just felt like two people getting to know each other. There was only 2 or 3 moments that felt like signs they were developing feelings and it didnt feel like enough to warrant So Huen giving up his whole life for a chance that Ki Wan would follow. It was a cute series that luckily had a super sweet ending, and it is definitely worth a one time watch. It just would've been much better if there were more moments of them obviously falling for each other.
I'm honestly not surprised at all that Mint killed/possibly killed Dew, I've been sus of her and kinda saw it coming. However this is a different instance right? Because the first time Dew was shot the person wasn't wearing high heels and had a biker helmet on. So does that mean Mum now has to prevent 2 murders? The time line is so confusing for me..
Also, while Mint really pisses me off since she wont take a damn hint, I was still angry with Dew this episode for not being upfront and honest with her. The Mint in Dew's world does have every reason to be pissed off and upset right now, not that that gives her any right to kill him. While I don't agree with her method of bothering Dew until he finally said yes, Dew is the one that agreed to date her. In his world they are dating so he is cheating on her with Mum. It's really irritating me that he won't break up with her when he obviously doesn't like her that way. Also as much as Aun irritates me as well, and he does seriously need to seek couseling or something, he actually technically isnt wrong when he says Dew is using Mint. Dew clearly has no romantic feelings for her and that flashback with his father talking about a girlfriend, then Mint pestering him again about dating, kinda made me feel like Aun is right. It feels like Dew is only dating Mint because he cares for her, he knows he can trust her, and he feels like it will ease his father's worry. I totally dont agree with Mint continually asking Dew until he finally says yes, but he also shouldn't string her along either. Try it out fine, but once he realized he definitely didnt feel for her that way he shouldve broken up with her and told her that. Knowing the way she is she may not have excepted it, but he should have at least tried.
Right, I wasn't surprised at all when he moved on to Thi. I actually was more surprised when he brought Pam back up and wanted to ask her out again. All his actions up till then were pointing to the fact that he'd already fallen for Thi.
