I love First so much and I'm so glad he got the lead role, he is doing a fantastic job!
I really loved the 2nd episode! Both couples we've gotten so far are so cute 🥰
I can't lie though, I'm still holding out hope that Seiji/Ken/Pan will be a poly couple in the end. I'm not a huge fan of love triangles and poly relationships are like almost non-existent, so though I don't think it'll happen I'm still hoping 🥺

This series was such a sweet and adorable series that is definitely going on my comfort watch list! I just adored watching this so much and, in my personal opinion, I enjoyed this more than the Japanese version. Don't get me wrong I love to the Japanese version, I just like the way certain things were in this one more.
Achi and Karan's relationship was so healthy and full of so much communication it was such a nice change from all the miscommunication we get from other series. On top of that, Karan is like the greenest of green flag! He is such a sweet character who just cares so much about other people, especially Achi. Tay was such a perfect choice for that because that's exactly how he is as well.
There we're so many amazing moments, its easier to just say that this was just the sweetest series ever lol. However, the proposals and the wedding scene were so perfect, they were probably some of my favorite moments and it made the ending of this even sweeter! I honestly already want to watch again..
Although I did love this series a ton, it wasn't without its faults. First, the finale did feel a tad bit rushed. Personally, I didn't like that the only introduced the parents in the final episode. I understand not having them meet each other's parents till then, but I feel like the parents should have been introduced sooner, especially Karan's considering he had past issues with them. Him constantly giving up something he loves/enjoys because they don't like it I feel could have at least been brought up earlier in the series rather than dropped on us in this final episode just to have it resolved like 5 minutes later.. Also, even though we only met his sister in this final episode as well, I loved her for standing up for him and making his mom realize that what she was doing wasn't acceptance. I'm also glad that both their parents were accepting of their relationship. Even though I know that isn't always reality, it was beautiful to see.
The other fault, and something that makes me really sad, is that we got barely any of Jinta and Min's storyline. I really loved those two and was really hoping we would have gotten more of their moments. I really loved Rock and Pai, but I would have much rather have cut their relationship from the series if it meant we could have gotten more of Jinta and Min.
Overall though, this was a beautiful end to an already amazing series!

The payment page was confusing me because it wouldn't translate.. When I looked it up I thought I read on one of the pages that it only worked in the region you purchased it. I assumed that meant I couldn't sign up for the premium, but I may have read it wrong. I'll try to purchase it anyways.

I really don't like to watch series illegally and I can't get Viu Premium in the US, so sadly I guess I have to wait till it airs officially somewhere else to watch the last three episodes 😭

Why do love triangles upset you so much? Love triangles happen all the time IRL. The problem is how badly this…
You're welcome 😊

It appears so 😊
Yes definitely check it out! The series was amazing and the love triangle, if you can even call it that 😆, was done very well in that.

I know they happen in real life, but I get tired of them in series because it feels like most series use them because they can't think of anything else to put in for conflict. When done well, like in Light On Me or Love for Love's Sake, they don't bother me. It just feels like in most of the series I've watched with love triangles in it they are, as you said, written badly.

I'm sorry I need to rant for a second to release this irriated energy in me lol
I may be alone in this, but I am so beyond tired of the love triangle trope. I thought we were blessed and got lucky when Kanda understood and backed off, but then Mizuki showed up and now we are getting one anyways 😒
I swear to all that is holy if in the next episode Sakae doesn't push Mizuki away or, worse, they have Soga show up AGAIN at the wrong moment... I swear I'm won't watch the rest until it finishes airing. Maybe not even then depending on how the last 4 episodes goes.
Considering in the preview Mizuki says 'I won't back off', I get the unfortunate feeling that the last 4 episodes are going to be the love triangle dragged out. I'm seriously praying I'm wrong cause I have been enjoying this series and this will kinda ruin it for me.
I will say though that one thing that is bothering me, funny enough, is the main couple. I do think they are cute together, and Sakae's feelings for Soga are so adorable, but I'm just not getting romantic feelings from Soga. I don't know if it's an acting choice because Soga is a more closed off character, but while we are made to believe he is jealous and does like Sakae romantically, I just don't think they are showing that very well. Again, I do think they are cute together and while they don't have the best chemistry I've ever seen, I don't think it's nonexistent either, its just.. I don't know. It feels more like Soga cares deeply for Sakae, but not in a romantic sense..
Maybe with this stupid love triangle in the later episodes they will start to show his feelings more clearly 🤷‍♀️

I stopped at episode 4 when I saw it’s a sad ending. I don’t think I can watch it. I wanted a happy ending…
Yeah I almost didn't watch the finale livestream for this reason! Thankfully I found out they filmed multiple endings so I gave the live a chance and it was a beautiful ending!
The uncut finale doesn't air on YouTube until the 24th, but rest assured it does have a happy ending if you watch the uncut version!

I do not have enough words to explain what a masterpiece this show was! Everything about this series was so incredibly well done. Every single actor, including the child actors, did such phenomenal jobs! The story was so well written and the music in the series was so infectious. I'm honestly so obsessed with all of their covers and I'm so sad that they didn't get full covers for the soundtrack.
There were a couple plot points that didnt make sense though, for example Eun Yu going back in time to get her mother together with first love.. How was she planning on doing that..? You can pretend to be your mother all you want, but you're not her! All she would have ended up doing is having the guy fall in love with her and have her mother be in America clueless of what she's doing while pretending to be her. I don't understand how she would have accomplished what she was trying to do if she hadn't changed her goal in the series..
The only other complaint I had about this series is the ending was very rushed. I feel like we should have gotten like one whole episode of them going back to their original time. That way we could have gotten backstories of how the character's lives were changed by their presence in the past. Instead we got like 20-30 minutes in 2023 and it only ended up being about Eun Gyeols family. Sadly we get no updates on how Eun Yu's family and life may have changed.. It's very disappointing because personally I think her family would have been affected as well. She encounters her mother and grandpa separately in the past and essentially tells them to talk to each other. I know it would have most likely helped heal her mother with what she struggled with in the original timeline and that could potentially keep her parents from divorcing. Eun Gyeol also tells Viva Grandpa to watch his health especially his heart. In my opinion, both of those things could have possibly prevented his death when Eun Gyeol was a kid.
Even despite that stuff though, for me this series was phenomenal! This is definitely probably my favorite k-drama I've ever watched!

This was such a fantastic series!
Just like any series though, there were some choices made that I didn't like..
Main issue is that they set up multiple couples, but only the main two really developed. The other two never went anywhere, we just got small snippets that never led to a conclusion, which is more irritating to me. If you aren't going to at least have them get together by the end, I don't think you should waste air time showing their moments. If they ever did spin off's I could see why you may choose to do that, but I've only heard of that actually happening once. This is just my personal opinion though
Another thing that irritated me is they set up a history between Pete and Kenta and again there was no conclusion there. Kenta finally overcame his brainwashed and manipulated mind and was the reason that they didn't end up dying in the end, yet we don't get his conclusion. He had literally nobody else, except Pete, and the only place he's ever called home is now going to be under heavy investigation. I was really expecting some sort of conclusion for his character and I was extremely disappointed when all we got was the main two couples. Don't get me wrong I love those too and I loved seeing them have a happy ending, but there were more characters than just them and I was just disappointed that we didn't get at least a more clear conclusion for Kenta and Pete.
Overall though aside from that I thought this series was amazing!

This was such an amazing series!
There were definitely some writing / plot choices I didn't like, but overall this series was just so amazing!
From the CGI used for the Naga and the Garuda scenes, to the acting of all the cast members, to the fiery chemistry between Babe and Billy.. Everything was just so well done and it was such a unique and interesting story. Not once was I bored, it had me hooked from the very beginning.
I love when production companies, producers, directors, or whoever makes that decision, decides to do multiple endings because its not done often and it can help satisfy what most people may have wanted to happen. When I first heard it was a sad ending I was so disappointed because the series has been phenomenal and that would have slightly ruined it for me. I know other people thought it fit well, but to me life sucks enough so I prefer watching stories with a happy ending. I was so happy to find out that they did multiple endings and it ended so perfectly!
It was such a beautiful end to this series and this is also the first kiss scene that has ever made me cry. I do kind of wish we had been shown Chalothon's change of heart rather than just be told by Tharn though. I really loved that addition, even if it seemed a little abrupt after everything he did in the series, but I'm glad that he's finally going to be able to move on and will leave them alone now. It may have taken killing the person he loved once, almost a second time, and then another year, but at least he finally got there.

I am super excited to find that there's going to be a special so can't wait for that!

The screenwriter said, the two main characters are definitely in love, but the main focus will be on the murder…
Manner of Death was similar in that regard and it was amazing!! If they do it anything like MOD did it, I think it'll be fantastic.

"I'm worried about what might happen in the future if you break up, so the solution is to force you to break up…
Right! The sales amount as proof made no damn sense. His worry was of what happens if they break up in the future.. How is Karan achieving a ridiculously high sales target proving what he fears of a possible break up won't happen?? That made absolutely no sense.
Then he proves himself to be a further POS, by letting his employee get sexually harassed and almost be forced to apologize to the creepy ass woman who did it! That part angered me so much!

The whole not being allowed to date within the office thing annoyed me. I know its just a silly little manga/show…
Yeah that part genuinely angered me. I know it was all because he wanted them to prove their love or whatever, but he literally let one of his employees get sexually harassed and then let him kneel before her ready to apologize before he finally said something. Sorry not sorry, but no amount of proving themselves is worth letting someone get sexually harassed like that. It's honestly super messed up!

If you pay attention Tharn's Grandma's expression blanks out once Charloton looks at her, which tells you he controlled…
I did notice that her expression change, but I didn't realize his naga power could do that. I just thought her expression was from shock of seeing him again. This makes alot more sense now though, thank you for clarifying that for me!
