WOW. Now that's how you start an episode and that's how you end a drama!I loved how different this episode was compared to the general tone of the drama. It was so entertaining that I couldn't stop smiling throughout! I never re-watch a drama no matter how much I enjoyed it, once I;m done, I'm done, but I think this show is going to be the exception! LOVED every second of it.

The scene on the roof between Gang Tae and his friend has to be the most well acted, raw and emotional scene I have seen in a drama. The way he just nodded his head and started crying when he asked if his mum regraded the way he treated him was just so real I could feel every bit of that! I also liked how this episode painted the mother in a more favourable way and we got to see how she also cared for Gang Tae in her own way, even though she didn't really show it.

WOW. I can't believe that I'm watching a drama where everyone is mature, doesn't hide anything (at least no yet :P) discusses things over, there are no misunderstandings and are not possessive or evil or manipulative! Is this even allowed to be called a Kdrama? :P Such a breath of fresh air!

As far as 1st episodes go you cannot do better than this. They provided all the emotional backstory and set up everything for what's to come. Who could Jung Ki Ho be in the future*? Who is his mother? Could it be Yoo Ran Jo? The entirety of the episode was on the backs of the young actors who did an excellent job. The more I was watching the young actress that played Seo Mok Ha the more I was seeing Park Eun Bin and that's some excellent casting right there. *As for who I think is adult Jung Ki Ho, I think is Cha Hak Yeon's character because: 1) the young actor had some similarity to him 2)this writer has the tendency to spend the first episode on the 2nd ML making an emotional connection between him and the FL and then have it been for nothing and 3) the character's name is Woo Hak which is very similar to Mok Ha which is the FL's name...

Here I am once again raving about the acting on this show! This time I am going to talk about Oh Jung Se that plays Sang Tae. Honestly if he doesn't get all of the awards available in S.Korea it should be considered a crime! He is portraying Sang Tae with such sensitivity and respect but also so realistically. Even his fingers when he is standing to how he holds the pencil, everything is just on point! Also the scene where the patient is confronting her father was so emotional and gut-wrenching. That hug at the end was what really got me and I never cry on shows or movies (and when I say never, I mean NEVER)

Kim Soo Hyun has this amazing ability to show his characters emotions in such a subtle way, mostly through his eyes, that you can feel every bit that he is feeling. He is just amazing. One look, one nod and you know exactly what the character is thinking and feeling! I am new into the Kdrama world and this is my first drama of his and I can surly say I am a fan. The only other time I saw him was in Crash Landing on You, and even on those few minutes he was on screen he made an impression.
