I don't have issue with age gaps because some look great together. In this case? !🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️ She looks like a 13 - 15 year old! I can't even take this drama seriously. I'm cringing here.

The time in the void was just way too long. There were some development, but it was kinda pointless. Drama went downhill for me.

I don't hate it either and the visuals are enjoyable at times. I do feel like it's overdone. In all the director's dramas I haven't fully enjoyed it either. When you watch the first time with all the visuals it's "wow!" then...it becomes.... "uuummm.... ok... this is getting old now. It's every fighting scene. Every look that has to have some type of effect?" The drama in the end loses it's spark because it shines too brightly. 🤣 Give me, the viewer, a break will ya! 😄

Here's my response: Ok fine, I guess the word "every" would be false. IMO though she looks almost entirely the same in her dramas. She's gorgeous. Her acting though is questionable. Her vibe coming off screen feels too focus on her beauty rather than immersing herself and becoming the character. We're talking, almost all her dramas are of the same consistent look.

That's why I'm having a hard time watching her dramas. Like girl, I know you good looking already now play the darn character! It's starting to get boring seeing her with the same look in every drama. 🙄

I used to like JJY. Over the years though I feel like all she has going on is her looks & that's what they're focusing on only. Like gf, BE the character, we already know you pretty. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Came to watch it with hope. Hope ---> 🔫 dead. Potential lost.

Ep 18 was just brutal. That Yuanqing dude is a psychopath. Whole village gone. 😭

I'm disliking this character of LCC even more now. She had many opportunities to "see" the truth yet chose to be blinded by her self-absorbed hurt feelings. Now when he's at death's door and SOMEONE told you the truth is when you all caring? Girl, I don't even want to redeem you at this point. 🤦‍♀️ This ain't no love because she loving him on conditions. Our ML just needs to be devoted to Du at this point. 😂🤣

I get it, but the signs are all there that he doesn't want any of that. The writer made her character so self-absorbed — she's blind.

ML said he promised her master. He also cried river while giving her the drink. If she was using a fraction of her brain she would see the bigger picture.

I started fast forwarding at ep 10. The show is losing me at this point. Yes, there's naivety and then there's just straightup dumb. In this case, yes, we can even say she's selfish and very much self-absorbed and self-righteous. Everything is about how she's been "lied to" and "hurt". Like fr honey?! 🙄 I can rant forever at this point, but I'm gonna leave it at this and see if her character improves.

Ugh....help me I can't stand the FL too 😂🤣 why just why cdrama gotta do this. Only Li Hongyi is saving this drama atm.
