Before MGB , I watched all the series with Gawin. I always really liked this guy; he's a good and versatile actor, a wonderful and discreet singer. Joss was just that Thai actor from Gmmtv that I found so handsome. I never thought Joss and Gawin would be a BL couple. It's a pleasure to see two men in your top 5 most handsome Thai actors together in a BL series, and two alpha males... far from the clichés of the "bottom" and "top" looks of most couples. If Mark and Tong were played by other actors, I wouldn't have watched it. Joss and Gawin have chemistry, they look good together, and above all, they are different. MGB isn't the series of the century. I've defended MGB several times here against negative comments about stupid details. I admit the script was weird and lacked coherence at times. The editing was often poor, but I'm going to miss MGB a lot. Why? Simply because of the main arc, that is, the romance between Mark and Tong. Joss and Gawin are incredible together. I hope to see them in a series with a better storyline and script. They have the potential to act mature roles while being physically believable...I'm tired of seeing actors my age playing gangsters, bodyguards, police officers etc...
I haven't watched STSD but I read Mark's recent statements at an event. I'm sad because Mark is a good and versatile actor. It makes me uncomfortable that he would think the show is a failure because of him... This show is a failure in P'Tha's definition and his definition of a show's success is through X's trends. Yes maybe the show doesn't have a good script according to fans but how many GMMTV shows with bad scripts do big numbers in trends? Unfortunately, the majority. GMMTv lets the actors do their own promos with excessive fanservice...Mark and Ohm remain themselves without doing too much fanservice. I've followed the actors of Boy's in love a little and it's just so cringe. Since the show was doing the same numbers as STSD, GMMTv seems to have asked the most followed actors to make videos with the actors of Boys in love, plus Ashton who solicit BL/Gl GMMTv fanbases on X, not to mention fanservice to increase the number of tweets, engagement. This obsession with trends is becoming so uncomfortable and ridiculous.
I felt the opposite, haha. The script is a disaster but the actors are doing their best.
I understand what you are saying. The writing isn't really great but Joss Gawin act well with what they were given. The book wasn't substantial enough to make 12 episodes. They added a lot of stuff, but put it all together, it's sometimes weird, I admit but I like the series and JossGawin do their best. I hope to see them in a more mature and better written story

At this point, I don't give a shit about the rating of the series and the critics on this page. It's not the BL of the century (given the level of the vast majority of other Thai BLs, MGB is pretty good...and without sponsors) but I like it and that's the most important thing. Joss and Gawin change everything for me, their chemistry is perfect and believable on screen. I wish them to continue acting together in other series together. They join JesBible and YinWar in my favorite BL pairs. They are so different from other bl pairs on many levels. Those who love these pairs know how they are different individually and together from others in this industry

Completely agree. I was talking about "flaws" in making it in the Thai entertainment. He had to make an effort because Joss pushed him for the success of their pair. Joss said he asked some friends for help with Gawin lol. I've always followed Gawin's work because of his talent, his personality, his authenticity, and his discretion . I'm happy with all the success he's had with MGB. He deserves it.

After My Golden Blood, I noticed this… kind of energy…when I walk into 7-Eleven.” I hate this so much for Gawin. He has been with GMMTV for 7-8 years... he has played all types of roles, he can sing and play several musical instruments but it is only now that he feels like he is being recognized for his talent, to be recognized as Gawin Caskey... I have always said that Gawin's only flaws in this industry are that he is too introverted and totally absent from social media...too authentic? Except that these flaws are prohibitive in Thai entertainment. With MGB, he understood with the help of Joss and his friend Kev. I feel like Gawin has wasted a lot of time and I am happy that he is finally receiving his flowers. Joss and him are really good together, their collaboration is so obvious on all levels (acting, voices that blend very well, friendship off screen).
