Title Star Struck
yes. it is.
Did you know we can see your list of watched dramas here on MDL?
You watched hundreds of dramas already, and most of them are romantic stories, so you certainly love that kind of genre.

You seem to have no problem at all with stories that have straight couples, but when a story has a LGBT couple then suddenly it becomes "oh no.." for you? Your homophobia is showing hard...

But here's my advice for you: if you have a problem with stories that involve two men being in love, just stay away from them. Don't come here and try to patronize us with your "oh no.." comments, because that's rude and totally unnecessary. Just watch the straight stories you love so much and leave us alone, please.

Is there a movie of the same? I donot see it in MDL. Is it korean? Can anybody give me an idea on this?
Yes, there is a movie version of The Eighth Sense.
Yet, this movie is only available on a few Korean theaters, meaning that you won't be able to find it online. That's probably why the movie is not listed here on MDL.

Title The Eighth Sense Spoiler
I didn't see any spoilers in the video. It's a music video with mostly scenes we've already had. So it's safe…
Well, there's a scene with blood in the video, and that was not shown in the series yet. Apart from that, we also see Jae Won alone in a bridge at the end. I'd consider those two as minor spoilers, because they give us an idea of what's to come next.
People love to acuse everything and everyone of queerbaiting, but this here... This REALLY *is* queerbaiting. They announced it as a BL story at first, to get everyone excited about it, especially because a famous actor is going to be the main character, but THEN, a few weeks later, they go and announce that it's not going to be a romance between two gay characters anymore!

The original story literally talks about a high-school student that tries to end his own life after being constantly and brutaly bullied for being gay. If the production company really intends to erase the gay elements of the novel, it means that they learned NOTHING from the original story and that still don't understand how harmful this prejudice is!

If they had kept the original story as it is, this drama could've been a great way to get people to think about their actions and maybe realize how awful homophobia is. But now? This is just another heterossexual story, like the thousands of others we've had before.

So yes, I'm not happy about what they did here. I wish good luck to all the actors involved in this project and if anyone here intends to watch this whenever it's out, well: have fun! I'm not gonna judge anyone for choosing to watch this drama, but I'm certainly going to avoid this series because I definitely don't support what they did here.
It's 2023 and I think it's time to move on from this kind of censorship that they're doing.

So, I made a post back when this was premiering in Korea, and indeed after all the movie was 118 minutes in which…
Actually, The Eighth Sense has *two* directors, and they were also responsible for writing the entire story together.

One of them is indeed Werner du Plessis, but the other one is Inu Baek, who is definitely South Korean. Unfortunately, he's not listed here on kisskh.
I tried to add him to the crew list, but my suggestion has yet to be reviewed and approved by MDL's team.

So, please, let's not forget about Inu Baek to give all the credit to Werner du Plessis. Both of them are equally responsible for this project.

You can find Inu Baek on Instagram, where he constantly mentions The Eighth Sense: https://www.instagram.com/inuinuinu/

nooooo :'))))
Oh I totally understand! I also love everything about this series, so if this had 30 episodes, I wouldn't complain at all hahaha
Even so, just knowing for sure that we'll have 10 episodes already makes me the happiest person in the world. :)

Sorry, but the information you're sharing is incorrect. Viki never said that there will be 4 episodes in total. On the other hand, the screenwriter & director himself already confirmed on the official youtube page of The Eighth Sense that there will be 10 episodes, each about 30-40 minutes long. The *movie* is 118 minutes, not the series. They are different things.

Ahhh thank you! The OST so far absolutely slaps, so I’m excited to check out this.
Yes!! The OST truly is great, like everything else in this drama. The two directors did a stellar job and I'm loving everything!
On The Eighth Sense Mar 30, 2023
For those who are enjoying this drama, the directors just shared this on the official Instagram account for The Eighth Sense: "Please enjoy this compilation of songs that inspired The Eighth Sense in story, characters, and design. This is not an OST list, but rather music we as directors used as inspiration for the story of The Eighth Sense. May it evoke as much emotion in you, as it did in us."
