I wouldn't class it as BL but it has romance and angst. I went into it blind and really loved the grunge and realism. It's quite deep and moving. Impressed with my first HK drama; and it was fascinating to see bits of HK back streets and unglamorous living.

Such terribly sad news. I heard news that he was in trouble but hoped it would all work out and he would make a come back as he was so talented. From a western point of view the allegations were so trivial. Devastating. My heart goes out to his family and friends. RIP Lee Sun Kyun.
