I agree with you wholeheartedly. I watched this show years ago but I think about it all the time and it’s sometimes because of this. They didn’t have to kill him at the end. Hell, one of the second leads could’ve died (I did love them but they’re not the main characters so the sacrifice would’ve been okay in my opinion). Like you, I very much love the show but I hate that ending

I don’t completely disagree with you but saying they’re young is a cop out because a lot of young people can understand. Watching a specific genre isn’t necessarily the issue. This person just doesn’t give anything new to them a chance which is limiting honestly.
