Love and the heart in many different ways
For the poets in all of us. This was really good for me. This is a story of love from many different angles beautifully brought forward. The writers use the image of a heart and blend in different emotional moments that we all encounter, feelings that come from the heart which are either happy or sad. The story is like a poem. Already watched it twice.
The thing with this drama is the power of the band and the effort behind the music. At first, I was really interested in the filming style because the actors seemed to be actually playing the instruments. The images of them playing are so real… the very first scene grabs you right away. I mean like playing crazy good. It turns out … they are actually playing. The actors trained over a year before for the drama. They play hard. I put the music on in my car and focus on the drums. The girl drummer is really amazing. I really liked this drama. The story is simple but the acting, production and directing behind this drama makes it very different and really worth watching.Was this review helpful to you?
I laughed so much! Amazing
You must watch this. After you show your friends and its the craziest thing ever. Its starts everybody is bored like ‘total B movie ‘ bored. Whatever you do … I repeat, whatever you do … hang in there for you will be entertained like nothing you have ever witnessed before. Excellent slowburn!
Super acting, the story of a changing Korea!Its cool how its about the eighties and the Korean culture at that time. I love the relationship between the siblings, the street culture, the differences between the friends, first love…. A really good drama about life and family. The main young girl play this ‘gooffy dummy ‘young kid superbly. The father also is top! Stick to it! This is a good one in my opinion

For the lovers who never met again!
Loved it! Becoming who we are and never forgetting our first love. The story shifts between youth and the present day for two people who fell in love when they were very young. Very well made with no loose moments. The flow is nice You see the hope and innocent love of youth and what life hands you when older. Really sensitive. Japanese classic!
Another head blower. Massive holding back tear alert! Beautiful story that took me in more and more with each episode. It took me few days after to pull myself out. In order to understand the quality and sweetness of japanese classic drama’s you must watch this one.If you get into the Japanese classic mode watch this one , Long Vacation, Nobuta wo Produce and One Litre of Tears. You will be set after that

A must watch. Japanese classic.
My head hurt after every episode. The Japanese perfected back in the 90’s these emotional type stories. At one point I was thinking they had discoved a secret technique to make the listener cry. Agony but incredible attachment to the story. The type you cannot stop watching. This drama is one of these and you must go and take the ride. Emotions will fly. After watch Beautiful Life and you may find yourself near the entrance as your locsl mental hospital. LolWas this review helpful to you?
Superb!
Great Korean drama. Slow burn and well worth it. The two main actors are drop dead beautiful but they also make the drama amazing with there acting. I love the story. For me it was about acceptance of people and how difficult it can be for some to blend in. People who have mental illnesses are often in there heads all the time. ‘Unwantingly selfish usually Its all about them …(understandibly) This drama tackles that part. Nobody can truely change but there is always hope! The struggle to find balance is clearly demonstrated here. Loved it! good job to the writers, directors and actors who kept it real and relevant. There is a ‘light’ love aspect to the story but it flows within the theme and does not take over the story. it shows us that mental illness or not love is am emotion we often don’t get! One of the best j-drama’s of all time
Firstly, the story is about us as high school students. Its about how, at that age, we hid ourselves behind fake identities in order to out looking cool or cute or whatever what you weren’t really. In my opinion, this is a masterpiece. The acting was incredible and the story was not your everyday goofy high school deal. This slowburn is about how two friends try to turn the most unliked plain student into the most popular in the school. This idea that popularity is the most important thing when your young and lost takes us through how foolish we are. Its fun so don’t worry but everybody has to grow up eventually… but do we?Was this review helpful to you?
A true classic.
My first drama ever and I still watch it every year. I miss this world of young adults and wish I could go back in time when I watch it. My first apartment, my friends, my freedom, falling in love, my dreams, the crazy things we did and dealt with on and on. I miss this story in my life. The music is beautiful and it will make you cry at one point or two. One of my favorites
This slowburner intoduced me to Korean drama’s. I put this one in the same category as the greatest drama’s of the 90’s when the Japanese were making masterpieces like Nobuta, Long Vacation, Beautiful Life and so on.
