I agree that Part 2 was not as good as Part 1. It is unfortunate that Jung So Min was not available to be in part 2. These last episodes were so complicated, at least for my over 60 brain LOL. I do love Lee Jae Wook, he is a good actor and quite handsome. Can't wait to see more of him in the future.

Review Lovely Runner
I am too old (65) to enjoy high school rom-coms; I just can't relate. I find them silly and boring. I watched about 5 minutes of this and already knew it wasn't for me. I did not read your complete review, but I've read other reviews of yours and have agreed. Thank you for the review, which supports my decision to not watch.

Yes 5 years was much too long! And for her and his friends to think he DIED, was not right. Poor Mr. Kim as well.

Oh @Precious... they kept saying "have the surgery" so I thought it was actually a surgery. Either way, it's mostly all made up anyway...I still enjoyed QofT and loved all the actors. Every drama I've seen have episodes or story lines that make little sense or not logical. But it's OK, I still enjoy watching these dramas. I've just accepted it all. They are pure entertainment and not documentaries.

Review Queen of Tears Spoiler

oh I definitely liked CLOY more than QOT. The story line was much better, it made sense (for a drama) and everything flowed. Their chemistry was perfect. I think the 2 leads were already dating while filming. I cried more tears with CLOY too. And I loved the group of soldiers. They were funny and not annoying. Although I shed tears with QOT, I honestly sobbed during CLOY. I re-watched CLOY but it’s unlikely I will watch QOT again. And you’re right the ending could’ve been better. I would have liked to see Hae In treat her husband nicer at home and at work. And even then 2nd wedding. But I was glad they recognized their love. I always felt that the miscarriage is what started their miscommunication issues.

Per the headstone, Hae In lived until the age of 84, which I was happy to see.

I agree that it was all over the place, and a bit too much. The mother/son duo (esp the mother) went overboard in the last few episodes. The fact that she killed everyone that "hurt" her son instead of just giving her son what he needed did not sit well with me. I did feel bad for Eun-sung though (coming from a mother's perspective). I also agree that the total length was too much. I also thought it ridiculous that Hae In had brain surgery but still had all of her hair immediately afterwards. Anyone knows that would never be the case. And no treatment or follow up??? Come on.....I did like QOT, however I would not say that it was better than Crash Landing. I would not re watch it again just due to the length of the drama.

All actors did an amazing job IMO

Review Empress Ki Spoiler
I love your review! I just started watching K dramas about 14 months ago, but knew I needed to watch Empress Ki soon, before they take it off (which I hope they never do). I had two episodes left to watch, but put it off. My gut feeling was that it would be sad and I wouldn't be happy. Plus, I did not want it to end. But I pushed through. Although it was sad, I felt I had a good closure. The Emperor did what he could to protect his Empress and the prince, and he finally knew the truth (about the false letters). I am glad he was the one to kill the eunuch. Horrible man! He loved her so, and he sadly was such a tortured soul, being born into that family. I too wished we had seen more happy moments between them.

Having an open mind is important to enjoying any drama.

I feel the same way about Kim Sean Ho, and the FL in this drama. She was SO annoying. But it was only four episodes and I loved
Seon Ho....so it was a cute short drama.

His facial expressions and body language are the absolute best. I will likely never criticize him.

JCW is one of the best looking Korean actors I've seen to date, and he is also an incredible actor. Loved him in Healer and Suspicious Partner. Worst of Evil was very well done by him. With that said, I was not a fan of this drama. The story was just sweet but it just wasn't worthy of him. I only watched episodes 10-16. I can't wait to see him in Empress Ki.
