One thing I noticed after the success of POJ , fandom of other dramas are so pressed that their show is not on netflix, so some of the bitterness might've stemmed from that but its not like a drama is guaranteed success just cause its on netflix lol

Honestly i never understand the mindset of those who clearly hate the drama and find no appeal of it all but continues to drop into the comments and burst the bubble of those who are actually loving it. When I don't like a drama, I just drop it, put in my rating, and bounce. I never keep lurking the comments section for a drama I dislike just so I can keep talking shit about it 🤷‍♀️. Guess I just value my time more lol

There's a 10 year age gap between the FL and her sister. There's a 5 year age gap between the leads. In the novel FL parents died a couple months ago, I think the drama is about the same time frame. FL is 19 in the drama and 15 at the start of the novel

Yeah since the drama is completely different from the novel, it'll be hard to guess the pace of their relationship, hopefully its not too slow of a burn. You're welcome!

The novel is a very slow burn. They have their first kiss in ch 102, even though she loves him, she still acts kinda cold towards him. They get remarried in ch 106 and is basically together from that point on.

The main leads chemistry is next level and its definitely not going for the same vibe as the 2nd lead, so its a moot point to compare. looks like deng kai and snow kong are going to get their own drama as main leads and i doubt its gonna be the same toxic abusive dynamic. Let's see if they actually pull off the same level of audience attraction or is it just the toxicity that people are drawn to regardless of who the actors

The "what if" epilogue? Yes its in the novel, although the novel is more in depth. The drama cut out a lot
