Sooo, although this goofy show had some issues, I found the chemistry and for lack of a better term “ couple cuteness” was off the charts.. I haven’t watched a BL with a seme who looks at his uke with such an adoring look in quite a while. It was a lighthearted treat..

yes, in fact she is pretending to be a man for part of the show, and her ML doesn’t even know she’s a she until he goes to check her wound on her chest when she’s unconscious.. it was hilarious!
can we at least wait until the end of series to write a scathing review and give a poor rating ?
I will 100% change my rating if I see a viable reason for the bullying theme, as I have in the past for similar shows.
A viable reason being: as a way to show personal growth for Perth’s character, to highlight the after effects of bullying or other mental abuse on it’s victims, showing realistic and actual CONSEQUENCES for bullying behavior, showing bystanders speaking up for victims and/or bringing about a change in their school and the way staff/students treat bullying as a whole, etc..
But if this theme is used for entertainment purposes only and as titilating fodder with no plot, sorry, no..
