One thing could have been that they both like plan and fight together. Not to put this down but in dramas like blossom, journey to love both leads were equally poweful and scheming in their own ways. Their vulnerable and strong sides were shown with great conviction. But here I feel they wanted this female centric so they made the Marquis just as some love sick guy. I mean Su brothers have more growth and dimensions, especially our grey hair prince. Based on previews also I feel not much ML. It’s not bad but a great missed opportunity

He is a supporting character at this point. I mean I didn’t even see him scheming and ruthless once he came back as Marquis. I mean where is the strategy, Ik there are scenes where they tell, but its setup is basically someone comes and tell they feel for trap and you were right, I was like where was the planning? 😭😭

But still making Changyu kill prince made no sense. I mean someone who was strong for almost 17 years lost to 20 year old Fan Changyu, I mean yeah. Even though I agree xie zheng call was right to go and protect the city this was far fetched. I heard novel it’s completely different 😭😭It was xie zheng who killed and she was in front lines mostly my god. Why they changed

With the entire setup of first half it doesn’t make sense for them to rush at the end. If thats the case then first half should be more fast paced or they could have made it part 1 and part 2 sorts like Lost you forever. How much ever strong you are, without being in military fighting wars and winning it like this aint easy one. But lets see how will be future EPS. With entire meas of leaked eps, I will still wait and watch in Netflix

Nope actually, He is capable, if you see ep 31 the other army was marching towards lucheng so Marquis have to go and stop that first else Lucheng would have collapsed. Fan changyu attackef and killed the prince. So ig it worked out fine

I feel its to fit the 40eps rules thats have been established, I honestly wouldn’t mind a part 1 and part 2 sorts and give more time for characters to breathe
