Same my thoughts, they went to Wu capital so fast and came so soon, while in the first episodes it took them so long, and why there was no strategy involved, Ruyi and NYZ have always thought of different ways to resolve a conflict, but now they had nothing. And yeah prince controversy just resolved in 2 freaking eps ????? and why they can send 3000-5000 men first and then rest?? they could have brought equipments. As you said they could have ended it way better

It is okay to have sad endings but it have to make complete sense, killing off 2 main characters in just one episode??? and then keep on killing others and NYZ and RR are great strategists, so how did they even lose war against Beipan people, who just how to fight??? Now they have all resources and manpower, how could they not plan and just simple go to war?? even when NYZ first won against Beipan - there was strategy of face change. They completely spoiled LTG till the end.. like the marriage scene didn't even make any sense.
and YL just dies in a running marathon?? ... The writer should rewatch Nirvana in Fire on how to end a drama with all loose threads tied properly. The last 6 eps was just dying-crying-dying-crying. They could have ended it way better
