I feel if this drama is well-executed then this will absolutely set a high mark, I feel instead of competing with The Untamed and World of Honor it can set a different impression. The novel plot is very much complicated and intense with a lot of angst and also the budget is high if the CGI is really good with the acting and the drama not moving away from the novel, then it's gonna be a huge hit for sure !!! and also changing Shi mei to a woman is actually a plus point to pass-through censorship. I really loved WOH and it's my top2 now but Immortality has more of a complex script it has a lot of angst in the novel, there's not much flirting just straight up *makeout* so I feel if well executed this will set a different mark
