Actress Chae Seo An is starring in two dramas airing at the same time. So proud of her. I still remember when she said she was working a part-time job while going to auditions.
When you really look at it, people mostly enjoy romance dramas with actors they are already fans of. A drama like this can’t really appeal to the general audience. The Asian drama community mainly attracts women between 18 and 30 years old. I’m not saying other people don’t watch them, but they are still the main audience, and this kind of drama just doesn’t interest them that much, and I have nothing against that. I’m a man myself, and romance is still 100% my favorite genre, but when a thriller drama is actually well-made and good, it’s honestly such an enjoyable experience. I’m not saying this one is a masterpiece, but it definitely deserves better viewership and more attention from audiences.
Is it really that good? I saw it already has an 8.3 rating after only 4 episodes. I’m not really a fan of Gong Myung either, same for Shin Hae Sun, but for KJW I can make an exception. What’s the drama like?
Umm I suffer from bipolar disorder and depression but Im an old person and learned to cope with it, but Im going…
Thank you so much for sharing this—it’s very moving. You can really feel how much this drama resonates with your experience and with your son’s. What you said about “facing things” and trying to find one’s place is truly powerful. I’m glad this series has been able to bring you comfort and even a bit of healing during a difficult time. I wish you and your son all the strength and courage.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ I just want to give a quick warning before you go any further.
If you're going through a difficult time, dealing with heavy depression, or having a lot of negative thoughts, please be careful. What you're about to read or listen to can be very heavy and emotionally intense, and it might make things feel worse.
Take care of yourself first. Step away if you feel like it’s too much, and come back later when you're in a better, more stable headspace.

I really wasn’t a fan of Go Yoon Jung, and with every drama she did, I used to criticize her acting and say she always made the same expressions. But thanks to this drama, I’ve completely fallen for her—it’s literally her best role in a K-drama. I absolutely love her character, and her “boba eyes” are so cute. She’s amazing 😻
Damn, what an episode 6. Just an incredible episode. What even was that episode? It completely broke me. I loved it so much. Dongman/Eun A and Jin Man… but seriously, they need to stop with those heartbreaking scenes of Jin Man wanting to end his life. It hurts so much, he seems so broken. I don’t know why—maybe they explain it in the drama (if anyone has an answer, thanks in advance). PHJ’s acting is just phenomenal. I love this drama, it’s a potential 10 for me.
As long as I’m alive, I sincerely pray to one day see a drama with Lee Jong Suk and IU, but damn, it feels like it might be impossible. Lee Jong Suk would have fit perfectly here as well. I’m not criticizing Byeon Woo-seok’s acting—I actually like what he brings—but LJS literally has the visuals for this kind of drama. We’ve only seen images from his upcoming K-drama *Remarried Empress*, and he shines so much.
IU is so cute, but honestly, even after 8 episodes I just can’t get into this drama. I can’t really immerse myself in it. The thing is, usually when I watch a K-drama, if I’m not hooked by the first or second episode, I know I’ll never fully enjoy it—even if it gets amazing later on. Here, I’ve never really had a great time watching it or felt fully engaged, and honestly I can’t figure out why.
I'm trying to scroll up to see the max number of messages, but there are way too many. I’m wondering how people manage to reply to every comment. Do you guys spend all day on ‘MDL’?
The casting is seriously insane, like what the hell. I’m wondering how they all got the offer at the same time. The cast is absolutely crazy. It almost makes me want to be part of it (which makes zero sense lmaooo😭
What is this insane casting??? Ryu Seung-ryong—I feel like he really loved acting in Low Life, and now he’s into this kind of drama style. The cast is legendary, but damn, Moon Sang-min is everywhere, I don’t get it. Does he have someone high up in the industry backing him? I honestly don’t think he’s a very good actor.
So Soo Bin released the best K-drama OST—thanks, bye!!!
