10,033 people waiting for the drama to come out in 2 months. The Suzy effect 🫶🏻🫶🏻.
12 episodes on the same day is going to be a long, long time, as I sometimes have trouble with 8 on the same day. In any case, this is a drama to be reserved especially for the night. I can already see some magnificent sets and maybe even a magic carpet.

Honestly, I'm really wondering if they're going to put the name “Iblis”, I don't really understand what he's doing here. Since when is a genie supposed to be evil? I don't really understand the purpose of the name “Iblis”, as the plot is already completely and utterly stupid 😭😭. It's like some kind of “My Demon” plot. Luckily there's Suzy the fairy in it, but I guess they put the name “Iblis” because they were shooting in a Muslim country (Dubai) and they needed an evil name. Anyway, I'm sure they won't keep the name Iblis.

I'm not going to lie, but this drama is starting to bore me and all the signs are that he's got just two teams, Hayang and Daesan, and that he'll be playing his last game against them. This is a drama that's supposed to put rugby at the heart of the plot, but we spend more time watching them shoot. There's a lot of boring stuff here that keeps coming back. The shooting coach and assistant director get far too much screen time, and it's just unbearable. One thing I'm afraid of is the connection between Seong Jun and U Jin being thrown in at the very end when they have literally no history, no bonding time, but I can see it happening big time. Honestly, I'd given the drama an 8, but I'll wait for the last 3 episodes to give my score, so it won't be more than an 8.

The actress who plays Mi-Na is so cute, it's so sad what's happening to her.... 🥲

I find the drama rather dull and I have the impression that Lee Ha Nee isn't involved enough, she gives the impression that she doesn't really care. As for Bang Hyo Rin, frankly I liked what she came up with, quite surprised that it was just her first role and also I really wouldn't have thought she was 31. 😨

“The most wasted 6 hours of my life.”
I wasted 6 hours of my life literally watching this horror, it's a bore from start to finish, to think I was waiting for this drama to see “Bang Hyo Rin”. Of course, you had to go to the famous +18 scene. How the hell can you say that Netflxi sometimes releases masterpieces like “WTLGT” and then comes up with stuff like this? I've noticed that 99% of their kdramas where there's sex, the drama always ends up being crap. I'm so freaked out about Suzy's drama in October, please don't have this kind of scene, I'm putting my neck on the line.... 😓

No lie, I don't think they have anyone in the 40-50 age bracket as an actor. Jo Han Chul seems to be in every kdrama 😭😭

Why not release all 8 episodes directly?
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Aug 21, 2025
Honestly, I'm keen to see how Lee Chae Min fares here. For me, this is his confirmation role. He's in a different universe here, he's clearly still a rookie, but he's being given a chance to replace an established actor. So far, every drama Lee Chaemin has been in has been a flop/flop. It's a bit of both, his acting and the script. Here for me, in a rather complicated drama for a rookie actor, if he plays well frankly he's strong and if it turns out to be another disaster, unfortunately I won't be able to help him anymore...
Anyway disaster or not, he'll always have leading roles now.

What's the context of Dubai here? Genuinely asking.
I didn't understand actually
On Genie, Make a Wish Aug 21, 2025
Now how many episodes will be filmed in Dubai? Honestly, it's complicated, because they could very well film 3-4 episodes in Dubai and the rest in Seoul, but honestly I literally don't see how this genius story can be coherent if it's filmed in Seoul. Of course, I know that the drama was also filmed in South Korea, but I don't see how they can bring the genius back to Korea. I'm guessing that Kim Woo Bin (Genie) comes directly from Dubai and that maybe later he'll be human and start a romance with Suzy. Honestly, I have no idea, but if when he's in Korea he's a genie, it's the biggest laugh of the century.
Either way, it's 10/10. 2 years waiting for Suzy, seeing her in the desert as beautiful, will sing maybe an OST and out on Friday plus beer is literally 10/10 even if the drama is horrible 😭😭😭
On Genie, Make a Wish Aug 21, 2025
I'm so happy but at the same time sad to get all 12 episodes straight, because I'll just have 12 hours instead of a month to enjoy Suzyaaaa's beauty.
On Genie, Make a Wish Aug 21, 2025
I'm literally 100% sure it's just Bae Suzy and Kim Woo Bin in lead roles and Ahn Eun Jin and Steve Noh are just secondary but mdl always gets that wrong.

Fucking drama doesn't help. We understand practically nothing at all. We know it's a gangster story and that Lee Dong Wook plays a gangster who's been in love with a singer all his life, but what's with this nice gangster? We haven't seen him fight yet. I don't see the Lee Dong Wook of “SFH” in his eyes. Yet on the poster, I said to myself “Lee Dong Wook” is going to be brutal and he's going to slaughter them all. Right now, he's just driving around in his SUV 😭😭😭.
The drama also makes it so 2020-2021 when it was shot in 2024. Mi Yeong, who dreams of becoming a singer, hasn't sung or done anything since. 4-5 episodes, the big sister I'm not even talking about. There's nothing going on here, it looks like a mess. Another flop for Lee Dong Wook after “Divorce Shit”. It's still better, but only by maybe 1 or 2 points. I don't even know if I'm going to give just 5 here.

lol... only few dramas have rating 8,8+, but okay...
And so? If it's a good drama, there's no reason why it shouldn't be rated high enough. For me, 8.4-8.5 and above is a good drama.
