Very disappointing and basic movie

Just watched it and it was bad, sadly.
Even the effects weren't done properly, since you'd often see actors moving the weapon around but they forgot to add the post-process effects into the shot, making it look quite silly.
Then there's shooting totally randomly up in the air without aim. And while I appreciate gun control, it's not the best place to do so when you're in an enemy base, having to shoot someone at a moment's notice.
The story itself was also really lacking, and while the overall story was safe the earth and find a way to do it, it was quite.. rough..
The visual effects were also from the early 2000s, or even a bit earlier, but I got mostly used to it after a while.
The acting was a bit all over the place, but I did like some of them enough, even if it was very much a surface level character.
The music itself also seemed to be very lackluster and basic, with nothing really memorable or anything which could hype you up or make you excited about something going on in the screen.
Honestly, my favorite part was some of the costume design and how some of the male/female actors looked like, that's the biggest strength of this movie.

Fell Flat

They tried, but it honestly fell quite flat for me. Got me a small chuckle here and there as well, but by the end I was kinda zoning out, just waiting for it to end. Thankfully it was short, so I made it to the end, though I feel it could've been a tad shorter and it might've fared better with some scenes being cut or at least shortened.

The production value also felt quite early 2000s, so seeing (2025) surprises me, though they did have a drone in the budget at least, as was seen in a certain shot with the drone being visible in one of the shadows.

My biggest gripe was probably the audio mixing/mastering. 2/10 for that. Certain scenes were barely audible with their whispers, only to suddenly be shocked by them speaking at a normal volume, and then suddenly the music blaring at an even higher volume. It's as if they completely neglected it, or only recorded audio from one source, so in e.g. one scene they're standing with the back to the camera while talking quietly and you can barely hear it, as am I guessing the camera location was maybe the microphone location as well, and recording someone speaking softly and quietly with their back turned away from you, from a small distance on top isn't exactly gonna make for great audio.
This is definitely one of the few times where dynamic range compression (DRC) would actually improve the audio experience instead of destroy it, lol.

4/10, with 5 being average and just "OK".
