It was okay for a one-time watch, the costumes were pretty and the leads had chemistry. The ending was a bit confusing. I'll tell the rest of my opinion about the ending in spoiler:
ok so I'm a little lost on the ending. idk if it was all just a dream or her reward for completing the game was…
I don't think it was a dream, because she got rewarded with a lead role. that means she finished the game.
The only way I could make sense of the last ep is that they misplaced the last 2 scenes. 'meeting the ML in real life' and 'waking up in set and getting the lead role reward'. I think if we fix the order of it, the ending makes more sense.
the fix: she woke up, got the lead role. she missed the ml, met him in street in real life
the dubbing was a bit off but overall it was funny and entertaining. The chemistry of the leads was great, and…
I feel the last scene was so out of place, I think they misplaced it. after finishing the game, waking up in a drama set should happen before meeting ML in street. if you look at it like this, it's a HE.
This is so stupid that I can't bear to finish it! the fl's voice (or maybe the way she talks) is annoying. There is no chemistry whatsoever. The acting is cringe.
I dragged myself through this to finish it because it was short. After watching this I need to vent out my frustration!…
Just being a good/caring person isn't a good enough to be someone's partner! This drama tried so much to highlight the care for others that forgot that being reliable and a stable job is needed for marriage, unless they are ok with struggling financially. what made it ridiculous to me was that they cherry picked the worst kind of arrogant self centered guy to compare with the carefree guy for the 2nd couple. for the first couple, I feel the only thing they do is being intimate. what they lack the most is 'COMMUNICATION' after finally getting a job, it was an annoying boss but lets not forget he gave his client to someone else. He is kind, yes, but he is in my opinion, unreliable! because at any moment he lets go of things for others. he is too selfless. to me, them getting together isn't something to be happy about.
I don't care about the bl drama in comments here but this drama so far is a disappointment imo.So-called gangster…
I don't think he could do more than that with them. because in my opinion, it would later affect Song Yi Heon's life when he comes back. (Song Yi Heon isn't dead yet)
I do agree that they had not experience the misery their victim was put through.
I think the gangster is trying to lecture them into not continue their behavior as he beat them when they tried to bully him and interfered when they bully others and force them to attend classes. They have not learned anything though, not yet at least... since they only avoid him from fear and have no idea how they pushed Song Yi Heon to suicide.
I have an unpopular opinion about the mother! Seul Bi's mom..(I hope someone correct me if I missed anything about…
SHE KNEW EVERYTHING! the moment she met the ML as a kid, she ruined his life! saving him from its killer doasn't erase that they were the reason his mom died. Also the fake dad??? as much as a trash he can be, she manipulated him for 20 years!!! and suddenly everyone is okay when she comes clean when she doesn't need him anymore??
another issue I have is that, the mother, knew she would some day get out! so couldn't she raise her as someone less deranged? it's not like they didn't have any alone time together! not knowing the outside world is one thing but Seul Be acted as if she had some mental issues rather than confinement in a hotel room her whole life.
I hope I have misunderstood or missed something due to some skippings I did as I was getting bored later on, cause that character didn't deserve the peace she got in the end!
At first when I saw the rating, thought it might be too low for a kdrama! (7.3 currently) Now that I have finished it, I understand it! The drama lost itself midway, instead of story going to its peak, it went downhill! The ending was.... ridiculous!
The only good thing about this drama was the people at the market.
I don't think anyone considers the show in itself bad, the fuss is mostly based on the fact there is a rapist…
I know about that guy, actually found out about him in another kdrama few years back. I don't know if the down votes happened then as well or not since that drama end up being average itself. (I'm not happy that he is still given roles, yet I don't skip the drama if I find the story interesting enough.)
As for the other point, I don't know about the original work and I'm not planning to read it. I do understand that fans of the original work could be angry about the changes. though since I didn't start it for romance, I didn't really care if there is any romance. the ML's life is so messy I don't think they have enough episodes to fix and cover everything and give the romance a chance without rushing it.
upon seeing the negative comments, I tried watching the first 2 episodes to judge it by myself, and I find it okay! I don't know what the fuss is about but it is so far not as bad as people make it to be!
Started okay but turned into a mess filled with idiocy... not bad for a one time watch but it had so many flaws.. both in acting, make-up and too many things happened in so little time!
This was dragging and it was boring, so much that I had to skip bits by bits to get through till the end! The acting isn't good and cgi is mediocre... The chemistry between the leads was lacking.. almost none..
That young couple were so superficially happy that felt like I'm being spoon fed about 'what a good marriage should be like'! to be honest most of the drama feels like women rights propaganda in your face.
The ending was a bit confusing.

the leads had okay chemistry and their acting was decent.
there is break up. at ep9. (drags till last episode)
it has happy ending.
