The story is the most cliche rich boy fall for poor girl, but I think they made the process somewhat believable. at least it wasn't love at first sight! The cast were okay, the acting was decent for the most part. (The fight scenes were such a joke and FL's acting was better than ML).
I think the leads were cute together and they had some sweet moments, but don't expect overflowing chemistry. (there were a few kisses as well)
Here is a list of what we have here:
-some rich family shenanigans for money
-not so annoying villains, with so-so screen time!
-slow burn (at least to me it was! they took their sweet time to fall in love)
-kidnapped FL (guess who saves her?)
-break up (lasted like half an episode! so not that bad but still, it's there)
-time skip!
The ost was nice, the songs ML sang were also okay. idk if it was his voice or not, but it was good.
it felt like the story was dragging too much sometimes so I did skip some bits here and there, but it wasn't to the point of boredom. could be because I watched all episodes all at once.
I think there is high possibility that I'll re-watch this drama. so I think it's safe to say it entered in my favorite list.
so is it worth watching?
if you haven't watched short dramas prior to this, you might not be so fond of this, but if you have, then you know you are entering a cliche fest with somewhat average pace.

the acting was good! the costumes were gorgeous!!
the leads had good chemistry and understanding of each other. they were so clear about their affection to each other that it saved me from the frustrations of dragged out romantic misunderstandings.
what I liked about fl's character was that she didn't show fear or confusion the moment the original events were dealt with and new challenges were thrown at her. Aldo she fell in love with ml but didn't change her personality! she wasn't dumbed down for ml to look smart, they worked together perfectly. (except in ep 17/18 in which fl made a stupid move and got both of them in trouble)
Here comes my complaints about this drama:
-my main issue with this drama was the dubbing. specially in earlier episodes it was hard not to notice that the audio didn't match or wasn't in sync with their lips.
-the other issue could be the abrupt start of some episodes without prior build up from the previous episode. (though this is common in short length episode cdramas)
-episodes 17&18 were a bit too out of place and out of character for both leads in my opinion. so it deserves its own complaining line in my review!
So should you watch it?
*it's a decent one to start watching short cdramas if you are new to the format.
*it's quite fast paced so it's very binge worthy.

Absolute waste of time!
The acting is not good, but the story had potential for comedy so I gave it a try.let me give you a quick summary of this mess while I rant in between when my complaints arise;
(don't worry I didn't spoil the ending in case anyone wants to torture themselves by watching this)
-Fl wakes up one day and she has lost all her memory! (ALL OF HER MEMORY except her name) yet in later episodes we are told her memory loss is selective amnesia! in that case she should've just forgotten the guys not her whole life in past few years!
-during the first episode we met FuFu. fl's friend which was forgotten midway.
FuFu briefs fl about her work and love life, telling her she had 3 boyfriends simultaneously.
-later we find out that the guys knew she lost her memory! and played along as if nothing happened.
they were quite chill finding out she was cheating on them!
when fl regains her memory they ask her to let them compete fairly with each other to get her! and she accepts that!
-among the guys none were 'irresistible' to me!
I hated the younger guy so much! he knew no boundary and was pushy.
Mr han disappointed me as well as fl when he said that the reason for liking fl was how hardworking she was and slacking off might make him not like her anymore!
Ying Yu Cheng was a little bit more understanding but why would you bring your mom to meet her when everything is still undecided?
Their interactions were rather cringe instead of funny and they didn't have any chemistry with fl!
FuFu had more chemistry with fl compared to all the guys combined!

It went right in my favorite short cdrama list!
The cast were both good looking and they could actually act! I think the acting could surpass some regular dramas! even the extras were good.
The leads had great chemistry!
The sequence of scenes did feel incoherent some times but it's common in dramas with 2-3 min long episodes. They used the time efficiently in my opinion.
There were some jumps that you had to fill in by yourself but it wasn't as bad to ruin the experience.
The only issue I can say that might be troublesome for many, is the subs. the subs were off so many times but personally since I've watched way too many cdramas, I could fix the subs in my head and get the gist of what was happening. so I guess having broken subs is better than no subs at all.
**So do I recommend it? Absolutely! go for it! specially if you are here for romance and revenge.

Very dragging! Average.
It was pretty dragging! After the 3rd episode I skipped a lot and I feel I didn't miss anything while doing so.you might ask why I would continue watching if I had to start skipping that early, the answer is the leads.
Not that they had chemistry, they felt more like friends to me 90% of drama than lovers, but their acting was decent and that's the best thing I can mention about this drama.
The costumes looked good at one moment and the next you see a guy wearing a Lion head!
I don't know who in their right mind approves of those attack names popping up on screen!
**Here comes the spoiler parts of the review :

The only moment I felt was cool in whole drama was the moment the ML got his Saint level power right after his mother died.
They totally ruined the last battle for me with the slow motions and the still poses mid-fight!
I didn't like the music in the last battle as well, it didn't really fit in my opinion!
I'm not even complaining about the Big Bad Demon looking like a clown!
(End of spoiler)
If you are here for the leads, then I wish you luck! hope you can hang in there and finish it!
If you are in dilemma and want some good fantasy, move on, it's not worth your time.

I think all the cast were chosen correctly and the acting is fine. Everyone were good.
The leads had great chemistry. I kept wanting to see them together even more!
Here are some things I liked about the romance in this drama:
-First, it is how aware both leads are about their own feelings and the fact that they care about each other early on. This saved me from the torture of 'when will they figure they love each other?'... even when they haven't yet openly expressed it, the subtle actions were enough for me.
-Another one is that both leads have their strong and weak moments and they help one another when needed without over doing it.
-The leads COMMUNICATE!!! They actually talk and try to understand each other. that's quite rare in dramas!
I like many of the support characters such as LanXi's elder brother, HuangChao, Feng Qiwu, LanXi's gaurds, ... the list would be too long if I write all the names!
There were also characters that made me want to slap them! such as the spoiled daughter of Tianshuang sect leader and Guyu.
The pacing was great for me. There were few parts that were a bit boring but most of it was enjoyable and interesting enough for me to keep watching with minimum skips.
The ost and the costumes were also good.

You will be introduced to nearly all characters in first episode and although editing in first episode felt a bit incoherent, it got better after that.
I wasn't impressed by the acting when I first started.. They were exaggerating too much. Either they toned it down a bit or I got used to it, either way I think it's okay now.
I think FL is cute looking but sometimes tries too hard to act overly cute and to be frank her acting needs lots of polishing and she is inconsistent.
I think the rest of the cast are okay in acting.
Overall I like almost all characters.
The fl coworker crush is both funny and sweet the extend she tries to get his attention.
I like food dramas so I'm biased in my rating to good food representation. here are my foodie highlights:
Ep 01: they did justice to the sandwich!
Ep03: how can this drama make me crave butter bread toast!
Ep06: Togoshi-san's bento looked so good!
Ep12: Togoshi-san's bento again looks so good!! Also Mendo-san's eggplant kabayaki don looked simple but yummy too!
It wasn't the best food drama but it was fun to watch. If you also like food dramas, give it a try.

4 dramas in 1 and still manages to be boring!
This drama caught my attention cause of Zhang Han, so I thought it might be a good one!well, after first episode, I figured I should lower my expectations a lot!!
As I stated in the title of the review, it's like 4 dramas about each guy that get cramped in a single drama.
Tong Yu is the main character and the other are more like support roles.
There are moments they are hanging out together out of nowhere to give us a recap of what happened and when they are together it feels like they are telling something to audience and not a talk among friends..
The only good thing I might remember about this drama is that The cast looks pretty and handsome! and that's it!
I had seen ZhangHan and Huang You Ming and Zhang Yang Guo Er in Boss&Me drama but the rest of them I haven't seen their works previously.
The acting looks stiff and fake in some scenes. (specially the Xiao fei character, his scenes are the worst in case of acting).
The first episode was boring! the rest is watchable and then it becomes barely watchable real fast...
The more I watch the more ridiculous this becomes...
There are instances and remarks in this drama that makes you wonder if a teenage boy on his puberty wrote this!
I wish they had put more efforts in dialogues to be less shallow!
Tong Yu is one of the least likable characters I've seen for a ML and he has so much ego that it makes it painful to watch him!
I used to root for Guo Chong to have a happy ending but It's so boring that I don't care about any of them anymore.
I'm not going to continue watching this! I feel like I'm losing my brain cells while doing so.
Initially I gave it a 5 and waited to see how it goes and it went for the worst. I'm feeling generous so I'll give this undeserving painfully boring drama 3!
If you are wondering if you should watch this or not... just don't!
Don't waste your time on this.. there are plenty of better dramas out there.

Mars, the revolution mascot!
The poster caught my attention initially to watch this drama and the plot twist at the ending of first episode got me hooked. The overall plot is quite straight forward Zero vs XROCKY, which is done through the sub-plots and their connections.
As story goes on we get to know more about each character as well.
Acting is okay, Though the ML's acting needs polishing, sometimes his expressions are awkward, aside from that he is good in the action. the side characters were okay as well, some better than others. (Karen & Kyoka got me more emotionally attached to their characters due to better acting)
Among the 9 episodes, most were good (it's not that it had out of this world twists but it was entertaining and done well), in order to enjoy this drama, you shouldn't take things too seriously, there are things that you might need to let go & ignore in one or two episodes to enjoy the progression of story & its revelations.
Don't take it too lightly either, this drama might make you cry once or twice.
The ending concluded 90% of what it was building to an end and left a 10% hope for a possibility of continuation (I would like to know more about Zero's identity).
If they ever make a 2nd season, I'll watch it.

Troublesome misscommunication is the better title!
I really regret watching this drama!! It had so much potential..The first 3 episodes were interesting but started to go downhill afterwards. yet I really hoped that the last episode makes it worthwhile but turns out it's just a frustrating shit show!
If you are here for romance, just run.. run far away from this mess.
ml's acting is stiff, fl is not bad.
they lack chemistry.
to be honest 2fl didn't fit the role. she did not look cute at all (considering how much emphasis was put on her cuteness).. her acting was meh as well.
without spoiling anything I could say that Some of the problems are rooted in fl's insecurity but ml's actions does leave room for assumptions!
If only the leads communicated....
the drama makes it look like fl is the problem with her insecurity and overthinking yet ignoring how ml's actions are as well a problem. (his actions are cheater-coded!)
why do they always keep fl in the dark? then blame her for becoming restless.
even when she voices her worries it doesn't get dealt with properly.
the drama title refers to a sentence that escalated the misunderstandings to the max! troublesome fiancee.. yet in my opinion their whole engagement was troublesome! not for them but for me! watching the painfully easy to solve issues turn into some big unsolvable problem. then blame it on fl!

I have watched the anime few years ago so I started this drama knowing who the traitor was but I still enjoyed watching.
I could say the reason for that may be as follows:
1. quite a long time has passed since I watched the anime so I have forgotten some details.
2. The show is a bit different from the anime in some aspects. (covers more of the story)
The cast were okay. some were better than others but it didn't ruin the experience. could've been better? yeah!
In some scenes the acting felt stiff.
sometimes although I could tell the actors tried their best, they ended up trying too much and over acted in some scenes. for example Yuichi in game 1. to be honest I expected more but it's not as bad to be unwatchable.
This drama isn't flawless but it's entertaining. (halfway through the last episode, things became a bit stupid)
The game's set were done well I think.
It has a bit of different feel from the anime but they managed to hype up excitement for each reveal.
The ost is very good.
The cgi is done well!!
I think they did justice to Manabu-kun! My worst fear of this show was if they couldn't manage to recreate its presence as creepy and as cute as the anime.
(I was enjoying this so much but then the second half of the last episode happened and I'll deduct a point for it! I was going to give it 8.5 but it'll be 8 due to that)
So is it worth a watch? In my opinion, yes!
*If you like survival games, go for it.
*If you like plot twists this is also for you.
*If you like smart main character, you should absolutely give it a shot.
*You could watch this as a stand alone drama with no need of prior knowledge since it covers the story from the beginning.

where is the glamour?
I like revenge dramas so I gave this a chance despite the overall low rating (currently 6.1).Just by the first episode, this drama screams low budget and I think the clothing department got hit the most by it!
In a republican drama revolving around revenge and seduction, the appearance/visual is actually important!
I think anyone who did the casting in this drama needs to get a new job!
Fl is supposed to be a singer that enchants the men but she looks very plain! don't get me wrong, there are kinds of make up that makes actresses look so pretty yet here it makes her look sickly and very unattractive!
If she is here for revenge, controlling her facial expressions is the most basic factor.. whenever she looks at anyone, she looks disgusted!
Ml is in love with fl already from the start and yet I don't see the chemistry!
I don't find him attractive. he lacks charisma. At least he wasn't the usual red flag that we usually get in republican short cdramas that hurts fl left and right.
It was a rather uninteresting drama all around, the reveal in ep 23 wasn't bad! though it wasn't worth watching this snooze fest drama.
this drama might have worked if they even switched up the cast it got. it's a shame.
You won't lose anything if you don't watch this one.

A good mix of reverse harem, fantasy, romance & revenge!
Judging by the rather low overall rating (7.4) at the time I started watching this drama and the fact that fantasy isn't really my favorite genre, I didn't expect much but after watching the first 2 episodes, I find it quite fun to watch!the acting is good, and on top of that the cast are all so good looking!
the bickering of Ao Jue and Chong ming is fun to watch and the chemistry is good! (I don't mean it just as romantic but as a trio of 3 strong different characters that get along well despite the arguments)
the three of them make such a great team!!
I think it could count as a reverse harem drama in the first half but in second half it turns into the typical romance drama match up of couples.
The scenes are entertaining, and somewhat over the top but it's neither cringe nor awkward.
I like that the drama doesn't beat around the bush that much and gets straight to the point. (for example the introduction of the characters were done the way it wasn't difficult to figure the relationships).though it did drag a bit in the last 6 episodes.
they all desire something and are willing to do what it takes to get it.
The cgi is okay.
The ost was nice.
the few complaints that I can come up with are as follows;
-the dubbing sometimes feels off (a bit out of sync) but I could overlook it since it wasn't to the point of distracting me.
-some episodes starts in new plot points that didn't have any build up from previous episode's ending.
-the mask man's identity was easy to guess! I said it was too easy because I'm not the type to analyze stuff while watching dramas and I usually let the drama surprise me with a reveal. (by ep 5 it's hard not to know and that's a bit too early for a 24 episode drama)
-I'm nitpicking on this one! Although they did a good job for casting of the sister, the casting for fl's teen years left me speechless.
It's one of the good short cdramas and you might have to stretch the logic for some parts but it's not as severe to the point of making it silly.
The ending was done well and didn't disappoint.
I think it was worth a watch.

I'll start with the positives!
the costumes look pretty and cgi is decent and fights look good.
Now here are what bothered me while watching;
-the acting!
ml's acting is a bit too over the top. his over acting took me out of the drama a lot. not that the rest of them were any better!
-lack of chemistry
among the 3 girls and even if I count in his master, none had chemistry with ml!
-the comedy isn't funny.
It's nice that it worked for many but I didn't find it funny at all. it's a shame.
tbh there were some instances that if they didn't cut it with a comedic act it could've been such an impressive scene but they did it several times and it didn't let the ml shine as he should've.
-the dubbing
it's a bit inconsistent. most of the time it's out of sync.
-the camera work!!
it has a nice effect in fights and battles but it's so over used in this drama that it got annoying for me. I'm not a fan of too much camera movements.
You might ask why would I continue watching then?
I like super strong characters that don't bother with other's drama! and my most favorite of such character is the ml in 'the Dominator of Martial Gods' drama! didn't have a huge budget but it was gold!
I was hoping I start liking this at some point! since it was a short drama and many liked it but it didn't happen.
it's not as bad to be unwatchable though.
That being said if they ever decide to make a second season, I might give it a shot!
so should you watch it? maybe!
The humor in this drama has obviously worked for so many and if the other points I made doesn't bother you, go ahead and watch it.

My main issue with this drama is the acting.
-I still remember that Maki was a very very interesting character in the anime but here it's just an empty lookalike! that overacts. the only positive about him is looking exactly like the character from the anime and that's it. his facial expressions are just not it.. he lacks the charisma!
-Considering all the effort of the drama to cast someone so similar for Maki's role. the casting for Suzuki/Aoki wasn't right in my opinion. he doesn't look like the character. even that aside he is too stiff and inconsistent. still better compared to Maki's.
Maki and Aoki were my favorite duo in the anime and It's quite unfortunate that the connection of Maki and Aoki was butchered due to stiff/awkward acting.
The acting of the rest of the cast is okay.
Let's talk about the pacing and the plot!
The first episode is so all over the place! scenes are just thrown in! If I wasn't aware of the plot beforehand, I would've dropped it.
Episode 2 wasn't doing any better! I didn't feel anything while watching what happened since it was very rushed!
It got slightly better after ep 3 but still the acting of 2 main characters was either too over the top or too stiff so it kept distracting me.
Here comes my biggest compliment for the drama!
They managed to recreate the unsettling feeling of watching the dead's experience on the screen. It was awesome!
I'll be watching this till the end just for this alone!!
