As much as I absolutely adored and enjoyed I Told Sunset About You, this sequel disappointed me.

Frankly, Teh’s insecurities and self doubts from ITSBY never resolved and he became the biggest villain of this sequel. HE NEVER ONCE FOUGHT FOR OH. They broke up because he decided he was bored and wanted something new. He cheated (yes, cheated) He got rejected by his coach and then came back to Oh. Then when they broke up, he dated a woman while claiming to Oh that he’s never forgotten him. WHAT?! So while Oh focused on his career, his life, his confidence and himself, Teh decided to ho around. I honestly would’ve liked it if they didn’t end up together at the end.

I also think Bboun should work with other actors as well. I think this should be the same for all BL actors. They shouldn’t make them stick to working with just one partner. Sink those ships so we can get more! It would be refreshing to see Bboun with other actors to improve his performance.

Yes! Yes! Yes! You nailed it. His brother said he overthinks a lot. I think Win has always been playing middle child and peacemaker of the family. Therefore, he’s always had to place others first. He’d rather be the cool and aloof person because it’s exhausting keeping up with all the drama in his family. I’m sure he’s decided that he doesn’t have the energy to care for anyone else and no one has ever made him cared for them. When you’re mentally exhausted, it’s easier to run and not get attached to anyone or anything. He told Dean in the beginning that nothing belonged to him. Now that Team is proving to be more than just a friend with benefit, it’s confusing Win. He doesn’t know what to do with his feelings and where to go from here. I love this inner conflict because it’s refreshing to see. They way they handled it is just sweet.

I noticed the music thing, too. Win has all these music posters in his room but they acted like homeboy never once listened to anything. I think maybe they meant they’ve never seen him do it in public.

Yes! I wanted more of his family. Explore that dynamic instead of the boring side characters! That heart to heart with Win and his brother was so cute. Also, props to Team for that great acting when he cried after talking to his mom..

Yes! He’s definitely also showing his vulnerability to Team by giving Team the option to leave whenever. I love that he gives Team the assurance that he’s not going anywhere while Team is overcoming his trauma, but he’s not restricting Team to be with him. He’s also telling Team to give him time to figure things out but while he’s doing it, he’s still so caring and loving towards him.

This tender loving side is only for his family and Team. His cold exterior to the others is hilarious. The constant fuck offs and death stares.

Agreed! I’m glad they didn’t do the typical plot of Team getting mad and distancing himself from Win after overhearing that conversation. It would have been too frustrating. I like that he continues to doubt Win’s intention because of his insecurities but he still had the courage to ask Win to not be with someone else. Love this couple!

Hi! Yes! They’re still in college and when in college, everyone is confused and experimenting! This is meant to be a light hearted drama with cuteness. I appreciate the direction it’s going with not playing into the cold and popular guy treating his partner like shit and acting like an asshole because he “cares.” Both Dean and Win are so tender and loving towards Team and Pharm. It’s refreshing to see Win say such considerate and kind words to Team. He’s been his biggest supporter and motivator. He’s encouraged Team to focus on his studies, his scholarship and his club. I love their slow burn relationship. They’re taking the time to understand and love one another. Win asked Team for more time but he didn’t hesitate to tell him that he cares.

“Until you find someone who can take better care of you.”
“Until you get bored of me.”

Omg. These words. They are so tender, soft and empowering. For someone who lacks confidence and security, it truly is beautiful to hear Win give Team that control and power. He never once tried to exert dominance over Team. Definitely husband/bf material. I’m even more in love with his character. I’m glad Team didn’t distant himself in this episode. That scene when Win helped him tie his tie? Oh yea, Team is IN LOVE. I love love the interactions between Win and his friends. The constant “f*ck yous” crack me up.

Sigh. To hear Win say that he doesn’t want to start loving anyone just breaks my heart. It’s like when he said nothing belongs to him. It’s sad to know before Team, he never found importance in his existence. It’s ironic to see someone with such an alluring and powerful aura as Win have such low thoughts. I’m excited to see how his character will start to slowly unfold.

Those who complain about it being slow or lack of plot, this is not that type of show. It’s a coming of age university plot. These are young adults trying to find themselves and their existence in this world. Just enjoy the sweetness but be kind!

Looking forward to him as a main lead soon! He’a got great potentials. I’d like to see him coupled with someone else and not Louis (sorry).

I understand the struggle, friend! I have multiple series lined up to watch in between as I wait for Sunday to come. I also watch the old episodes to fulfill my craving.

Yea I’ve heard about the difference between Hia and P in the Bl series. I personally like Hia more. I’m still traumatized by Pharm’s “PPPPPP DEEANNNN”

This is what I said in a response to a post as well. I am ready (since UWMA) for Team to show Win affection and love. I think because we are only on ep 4, they are taking their sweet ass time for Team to come to this realization. Win is a lot more experienced when it comes to his own sexuality and relationships. I’m sure he’s had many partners before but no one to keep his interest like Team. They’re doing the old trope of Win being even more invested and interested in Team BECAUSE Team is not as interested in him. I think Win is starting to realize that he cares a lot for Team than just sex, so he’s also trying to figure it out. Team is very inexperienced and so, it is definitely his defense mechanism. He’s scared that if he accepts that he likes Win, Win can lose interest and leave. He’s insecure and mentioned a few times that Win is too charming and that’s why so many people like him. I mean, let’s be honest, Team is cute and all but Win is drop dead gorgeous. He excels in everything and he comes from a prestigious family. Of course Team is going to be insecure learning about these things. That’s probably why it didn’t upset him hearing their convo. He expected that Win is just having fun.

With all that being said, I honestly would like to see someone like Win be with someone who’s more mature and confident. Idk why the dynamic has always been the confident and popular person with the unpopular and insecure partner. I’d like to see Win with someone just as confident and secure so they can shift the power balance and make it more interesting. Imagine Payu and Win together. Holy shit. I won’t even say Vegas bc he’s on a different level of crazy.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this will all unfold. My baby Win definitely deserves some love.

Also, I like Win looking all moody and mean. I’d rather have that than all stoic and serious like Dean. I think Team will break down his cool guy exterior soon as we saw from his fear of horror movies.

Oh, I like hearing him call Win “Hia” vs “p’Win” it sounds like Huyng to me and that’s sexy af from Semantic Errors.

AGREED. I’d be ok if they gave us side couples but not take up so much of their screen time. They could use that time to full dive into both of their characters. We get that Team had a traumatic experience with water but what about Win? He mentioned being rebellious.. give us some of those scenes! Explore more of Win’s relationships with his family and friends. I’d love to see Team have more heart to heart with Pharm and Manow as well. They can throw in other characters but have them relate back to Win/Team.

It is definitely a defense mechanism. I hope as the episodes progress, he will be more confident with his feelings and not hold back so much. I know Win is still trying to understand his own feelings but so far, he’s been a lot more open with his consideration of Team. I’d like to see Team’s more caring and tender side as well- like when he gave Win that small kiss in ep 3.
