I personally still don’t get it. If he already knew how to speak (no matter the dialect or tone), why would he be worried about how he’d sound? You don’t lose the pronunciation if you can’t hear yourself. You’d definitely speak in a louder volume. I know plenty of people who are hard of hearing and still make the effort to speak knowing their pronunciation may be off. I also feel that if Heart lost his hearing but was not born mute, he should by all means, continue to use his voice. Why make it an additional deficit? Why impair your level of functioning even more by not speaking? This is NOT by any means to criticize anyone or pass judgement. I mean no offense to those who are hard of hearing and made a personal choice not to speak. It just does not make sense to me.

I think if they made Wen a cheater, it would be more of a storyline. He could then see the effect of his action on those he loves. Jim would not be able to trust him and Wen would need to work hard to gain his trust, thus, becoming a better person himself.

They totally should’ve kept Wen as a cheating ho. It would’ve made it that much more spicy. Now, all we got is possibly a delusional ex turned roommate who’s sticking around for breakfast and utility bills
