Y’all getting all kinds of salty when I thought ep 10 is probably the best episode to date from NLMG. We got what we wanted:
- Neung and Palm in leather jackets in the 100 degrees Thai heat but keeping it cool, if that ain’t good acting, Idk what is
- Uncle Chanon looking all sorts of fucked up in jail with that wild electric hair. He looked like he’s been playing with them sockets one too many times
- Bully begging on bended knees while Neung gracefully walked away wet and in them swim trunks
I may sound like a thirsty ho but that’s because I am 😬
I’m on ep 2 and I really need good reasons to continue because… this is just ridiculous so far. My rant is…
1. The acting is horrendous. Too exaggerated and extremely unnecessary. The main lead is trying so hard to be tough. Don’t get me started on the typical behaviors of grabbing and choking the female lead. Tsk tsk. The “bad” guy who wants to take over is also just taking his acting class from watching what he thinks other villains are supposed to do.
2. How tf is it logical for the original girl to sacrifice herself to save a complete stranger just bc they look identical?! Then, before she died she basically gave this stranger her mission and peaced out. WTF?! That makes no sense.
3. How is the family supposed to be convinced that after many years of trying to be “on the run” she suddenly came home with a fiance. Also, can she look any more uncomfortable with him? It’s too obvious.
4. The constant dramatic slow motion scenes with the dramatic music plus panning in and out are completely unnecessary. Is this a Bollywood film?? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
