I don’t leave reviews but when I do, it’s because of speedos- I mean the story!
First, let me get this out of the way. WHERE THE FUCK HAS JOSS BEEN?!
GMMTV delivered this GORGEOUS SEX GOD to our BL world. Finally. THE TOP TO ALL TOPS. At 6’2 with abs and buns of steel, he could turn any men gay and any of the well established daddies into his prey. He’s ultimate Big Zaddy.
Ok. I wiped my drool. On to the series:
It’s a fantasy romance between a vampire and human. Come on y’all . It’s a sexy gay vampire. So let’s just leave the prejudice aside and have fun. Some of y’all are just so serious.
Story: pretty interesting and good twists here and there. The focus is more on the romance so LOTS OF RATED R SCENES. I love that it has so many scenes of the leads and no annoying side characters or excessive side couples. There’s no repetitive virgin trope either. These are mature people.
Ship: the JossGawin ship is a cruise ship and we’re on a permanent vacation. I thought Gawin was the ultimate masculine top from his previous BL series. Then came Joss. O. M. G. Who knew Gawin could be such dethroned from his alpha status so quickly?! I mean even at 6 feet, Joss made G looked so cute and cuddly because of his big boy energy. They’re both so gorgeous together.
Romance: SO ROMANTIC. Zaddy Vampire Mark has it BAD for his Tong. The best part of their relationship is that they COMMUNICATE. How fucking sexy is that? They never let a misunderstanding go longer than 5 mins before talking about it. I love that even though they got outside forces telling them to break up and that their relationship would never be possible- instead of listening to those voices, they both were like oh yea? Watch me. I’m gonna love the fuck out of him.
Rated R scenes: Don’t get me started on these. 3 words: Joss/Mark, bathtub, Tong’s shirt. OMFG. And the devouring kisses. Joss/Mark was hungry.
Ending: SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. I love it.
