Great story and great acting!
One of the best vertical drama's I've watched. The main leads are attractive and also good actors. They delivered their roles really well that I cried a few times. There's a lot of misunderstanding and typical tropes but also a lot of growth from the main leads. Some of the misunderstandings really are hard to forgive and only time can really heal the heavy wounds inflicted which is why I appreciate the ambiguous ending. I'd love to think that over time they've healed, forgiven, and got back together stronger.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best Short Chinese Dramas Out There
I just remembered this drama so I rewatched it again today, my 3rd rewatch. This is one of my favorite mini dramas. The premise hit hard from the very beginning and we see the transformation of the female lead from subservient to assertive as she grappled with the reality of her life and future. The story progressed well, and the pacing was good. We see the male lead's progress from a somewhat stoic and cautious character to warm and loving one. How the lead characters were written in just the right amount of temperature made it pleasant to watch the pair. The leads acted really well and the cinematography of this vertical drama had some pretty shots. Overall, this is one of the best short dramas out there and definitely have a rewatch value.Was this review helpful to you?
Consistent plot and characters!
I really love this series. I still rewatch it from time to time. The production seemed low budget so the story and actors really made up for it. The story was really nice, and the characters were well written, consistent and smart. Of course, it is not perfect, but overall, the pacing was good, well balanced and easy to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
