This has given me a new perspective on this genre. I will be retrying sweet home as I never enjoyed it much but maybe I was too judgy to quick.
The story has really highlighted what being human means and survival. As humans, we do need connections to thrive but for the unfortunate soo in she has never had that. He reported her father for abuse, being called a monster. Her detective friend died trying to save her. She never lost her faith in humans. The parayste though has taught me a few things as well as learned some things. The ML for me was comic relief, the friend who is unserious but can rely on for.
