If you would've paid attention to previous episodes you might've noticed that when she asked her brother to help find the person behind her car accident he was worried about her, and her SIL no matter how much of a show off she is she always cares for her, and in some pervious episode we can her brother said " Yes he's dislikes her but he dislikes it more when someone tries to bully her" about her father, her father didn't hated her, it's just that he might be blaming her for his wife's death ( shown in flashback) , and if you remember when she was poisoned her father was so mad that he even slapped the grand prince and made sure that her brother for SiL were always by her side , so it's not random.

I liked it, it was something different, I liked how it was not too dark but was enough scary, background stories were great too, not to forget the actors, their acting made the scene really interesting and gave life to horror scenes. Specially when geon woo was attacked for the first time
