I am really confused going through the comments. Can anyone explain whether the leads were ex-spouses as given in the synopsis? where does a child come in the picture? why the leads broke up in the first place? I don't mind spoilers.

Actually it varies from discipline to discipline. In literature the usage of the word is still there but in sociology and linguistic anthropology it is problematic because of the inherent foundation of discrimination done against unmarried women. Now discipline specialized paradigm are being spread across the mainstream society so that is why more and more people are aware today.

It generally refers to an unmarried women. I got the connotation that you are referring to. I apologies for that. I didn't mean to demean anyone. Instead of writing she is unmarried and is raising her adopted daughter; I I used one vocabulary as it saves the details. But I realized my fault. I have changed it. So please accept my apology.

That makes sense! Thanks. But what I don't understand is why the second male lead is pretending to be the father? what would he gain from it? Honestly I started hated him when he took advantage of a drunk women. But then again that can be a lie.

I also feel the same. The second male lead is forcibly trying to keep the female lead by doing so. I believe the truth will be revealed in the last few episodes and till then they will keep the misunderstanding intact.

I saw episode of 12 in a fast forward mode and it seems that the male lead knew that he is the biological father . I don't understand how? Why the second male lead is ready to pretend to be the father? One more thing, is it revealed whether any physical relationship happened between the second male lead and female lead because I still believe nothing really happened .
