I wonder how many teams will be eliminated according to this global voting, will it be half? I'd really like to see team 14:00 on the next round, they're good dancers and might show some really nice performance, but they're stuck on 9th position... But I guess bonuses from the 1st and 2nd round are not yet included, they may change a bit. So your younger sister is older than the age of 23? damn He has also worked in All of us dead and his acting over…
Lucky, you still have few years of enjoying your 30-ies, I'm turning 40 this year, it's so sad... But I'm not planning to stop being a fan of K-dramas and I just become a fan of K-POP too ;)
Seriously, only 5 final performances of the 2nd round in the 5th ep??? That's cheap. And four of them are rap, that I don't like at all. I've seen only fragments on YT, but the only thing really enjoyable was a bit of Taehwan's singing in the end. I guess I'll skip this one, I'll only check current ratings.
Am I the only one watching this show without knowing the groups/artists because I don't want to become biased?…
I guess it's really hard not to find out their names, even more if you look at YT comments. Personally I checked my favorites right away and to be honest I don't like most of their songs they recorded so far, but I'm still going to vote for them till the end, because what they have shown at Peak Time is on a totally different level. The producers of the show did a really great job to let those boys shine. As for being easily biased for what I see it's a specific thing for this K-POP idols subculture. I really can't understand and approve all this stanning and sticking to their favorites, ignoring new groups (but I guess it's a common thing that older generations don't understand new subcultures ;) ). That's why young talents have a really hard time to get through. I'm making now my own list of favorite K-POP songs and performances and there's barely any group I like as a whole (there's exactly one for now), usually I can find about 1-2 songs that fit my preferences and it similar for well established older bands as for recent debuts with only few singles.
If anyone interested I summed up current state of voting:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nB0lhW1JZg3fsP_7nnje1r9Cu7D8dI-8SvRdMtUCatg/edit?usp=sharing
Hello! I got curious! What would be different? I didn't come across these types of shows in other countries except…
What I wanted to say is that this show is about idol groups not just a singing competition or a talent show so you can't compare those things. I don't think there are any idol group contests in Europe (because there are no idol groups here) but there are already many K-POP fans around the world, and I'm sure their attitude toward Korean idol groups is similar as Koreans, they have to be good looking. It's not about nationality or regional culture, it's closer to a subculture I think. On the other hand I guess there are some singing competitions in Korea too were visuals are not important, after all there are many solo singers there as well and not all are young and handsome. Of course I agree that there are still many cultural differences, but they not that clear now, thanks to the Internet they become more and more blurred. I'm from Europe as well, but when watching Korean idols I do care about overall thing: song, vocals, dance and visuals, because that's what they're about. And singing is not the main part that hooked me to this kind of entertainment ;)

You got one think wrongly here, the looks of idols is very important and you can't change it. You can consider it as natural talent. If you're not good at singing you don't become a singer, if you're talented but not good looking you become a different kind performer not a member of an idol group.
So I was lucky that this one was my first to watch, I'd probably be disappointed if I watched a different one,…
It's just that one also includes girls, while I definitely prefer boys, they're such eye candies ;) For now I'm doing my own search for more or less hidden gems. It's sad that many really talented groups stays unrecognized and underrated, there should be more shows like this. For now my biggest discovery is E'LAST, they totally fit my preferences. Other example is D-CRUNCH they made some really nice songs that have ridiculously low number of views on YT, sadly they've already disbanded last year.
it is because they didn't know about the online rankings at that time!
Global ratings don't matter for the 2nd round, judges votes do. They've seen all performances and judges reactions for them. There are groups that got all picks in both survival and the 1st round (11:00 and 20:00, they my favorites too btw) and they somehow ended as leaders of two stronger teams for the 2nd round (and for two other leaders are the weakest teams). While choosing for example 18:00 was very unreasonable for me, they barely made it though survival and lost in the 1st round.
As many said it's e recycled trope of a female ghost, but why all those FL ghostesses have to be so annoyingly intrusive. A shy, timid ghost would be an interesting change.
I get a feeling that teeming up into four groups was staged, because it feels odd to me that the team A turned out so week while they were first to choose. Why they didn't pick any of the favorites of the show? Anyway it's still so fun to watch and can't wait to see the next episode.
this was really fun, I really loved the premiere! if all the episodes are like this, this drama could be very…
... together with a beautiful female resident doctor, with whom he got into hate to love relationship? (forgot too add medical drama and a romance of course) ;)
Been loving this show so far! I was originally hesitant to watch because I was expecting the usual really dramatic…
So I was lucky that this one was my first to watch, I'd probably be disappointed if I watched a different one, if I'd ever watch any (I started this one because of Lee Seung Gi I was never in to K-pop up to now). Thanks to this show I found out how entertaining idol groups performances can be and became a fan of two of them.
This is a fun show. As someone who’s watching Boys Planet rn and watched other survival shows it’s interesting…
I found it quite peculiar that this drama started airing the same day as Peak Time (my first k-pop idol survival show I'm watching), while this show was made to promote struggling boy bands, exactly how Wild Animal from The Heavenly Idol is. :)
