I saw that many people thought SYR and WN's deaths weren't sufficient given all the bad things they did, but I believe their deaths were fitting. The man who buried his wife alive to gain status ultimately died by falling off a tall wall onto the very ground he used for his crime. Similarly, the woman who committed many evil acts for her brother and lover ended up dying at their hands. Isn't that ironic?
Also, I don't think it’s an open/sad ending. We see him in his red clothes coming back to her, so it should be a happy ending. The extra episode was also proof that it was a happy ending (extra kiss scene too heh). And for people saying they are disappointed at LJ and WJ’s death. I'm pretty sure the novel had them die too, so the drama followed along with the novel. I don't think that’s necessarily a bad thing. I was also really sad that they had to die, but I think it was necessary to make XH go crazy with no mercy when fighting against the enemy.
Anyway, the drama was great. This drama had no ‘somebody who gives up on their lover just for them to be safe’ trope (yk how this works if you watched a lot of other dramas 😭). 100% recommend unless you not into dark stuff!!
Disagree she has great insight, all her reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, lol
Ya same, i dont watch her reviews anymore cause I loved every single drama she didn't like/criticized a lot such as Legend of Shenli and Story of the Kunning Palace. 💀
He didn’t randomly decide it. It might seem that way at first but everything he does has a reason. Since you’re…
Uh no, Xingzhi was just bored so he went to the human realm. He didn't know he would meet Shenli there and that they would later fall in love with each other. He didn't plan for her to fall in love with him
And second : am I the only one who wants to smack not only her mother but also her sister (not as much as her…
Her mom is pretty rude/mean, her sister is kind though. I also thought at the start, that her sister was like those green tea girls, but she ain’t. In the later episodes, her sister stands up for Xuening against those girls in the palace, and they help each other. Xuening’s personality in the past before getting reborn was really bad too, so I understand where her mom is coming from, but it's harsh.
Wait, I have a question. There are news that He Jiong is gonna retire. Is He Jiong still gonna be in who’s the murderer season 7? If he’s not, i’m gonna go cry.
It's out already, dang this is soooooooo sad. It's nothing like I imagined at all. I dropped after episode 1,…
The casts are new? Wdym? You probably just didn't watch their dramas. If you watched professional single or fall in love, you probably won't think that they are not good looking. For me, the first episode was funny and not boring. But I do agree that the CGI is bad.
