You have a point, I also can't wait until Palm sticks up for himself. I hope we get to see some character development…
While I'm liking this series, I know what you mean. Thai BLs are notorious for imbalanced characters and situations that we're all just supposed to "accept" for the sake of cute guys showing some lip action. Because of this, lately I've been drifting more toward Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese, and Taiwanese BL.
Friends... remember that boys will be boys. In general, gay boys fcuk first, talk later... usually a LOT later. Relationships between men don't necessarily need to be clearly defined, unless they go on for quite a long time, to the point where clarification becomes necessary (which could be 1 or 2 years!).
While I certainly don't require a kiss in my BLs, THIS one desperately needed it. The lack of a kiss brought us from "Cherry Magic" fantasy into "Oh, the main leads (or their managers) don't want to kiss on screen." VERY disappointing and soured the series for me.
Just watched ep5. Nueng just can't get more unlikable, can he? He drinks alcohol which he is allergic to after…
Well... Neung has had it quite a lot worse than the other guys. His father was shot and killed, right in Neung's arms, and on his birthday no less. He is constantly bullied by his entire school. And now his mother has been shot right in front of him. Many people would totally shut down and go into a perpetual fetal position after all that.
I'm not condoning Neung's behavior, but I do see reasons for his issues.
He writes "A fool" on Palm's cast? Seriously? What kind of a suckball comment is that to write to the one person who has your back? That was really disappointing.
Yes, I was a gay teenager with a homophobic parent. But I never threw anyone under the bus the way Ben did to…
Oh, I think it is THAT serious. Homophobia is a battle gay people are still fighting. If it had been a boy and girl kissing no one would have batted an eye. These guys were made to feel that they were pond scum.
I'm enjoying the show and I found episode 5 to be the best one so far. Sure, there are a couple of things I wish…
