War of Y is not the first series to expose the toxicity of (some) behind the scenes goings on in BL. "Lovely Writer" did it, as did "Call It What You Want" and "Call It What You Want 2. " The last two were based on actual experience from "2 Moons 2."

I watched and enjoyed 2 Moons 2 but, while it was airing, I had no sense that there was anything amiss behind the scenes.

So then, if this this truly about the BL world, I guess we have to wonder about every BL that we watch... right?

I think getting rid of fanservice and fake "ships" would be a great start. It causes far more harm than good. But the production companies know they can make money off of it, so they don't give a crap about whether or not it harms their actors.

It seems that the series (based on true stories, or at least somewhat) is trying to tell us to stop watching BL, because of all the crap the actually goes on behind the scenes. Is that the message?

If the message is that fanservice sucks and causes nothing but harm, then I'm all for that message. I've always hated fanservice, it's just super creepy.

Count me in as the one viewer who doesn't particularly like nor care about Rain. But Payoo is hawwwwwwt.
